Perfect shave for a dreary wet day here on LI. Of course with the Christmas vibe of this software the weather that our dear friend Hogie, @Hogie, is experiencing in the lower mountains of New York would be more appropriate. Happy shoveling!

I decided to give the DE a break today and opted for the shavette. I am rapidly approaching my 1000th open blade shave (straights and shavettes). I had a very close shave, however, I felt the blade tug on the upper lip therefore it was binned after the shave. Regardless of the tugging, it was a wonderful shave.

Hallelujah! This is my last DE shave for this month. I am glad that I fulfilled my obligation to just DE shave for 16 days. The rest of the month I will be using my straights and shavettes. I decided to make my last DE shave a Fatboy Friday Special and do a headshave as well with the same setup.

Everything went well. I did a 2 pass shave and a 3 pass dome shave that gave me BBS throughout without any errors. However, I needed to do some minor touchups after my 3rd pass on the dome. I bumped the setting to 8 and got the stubborn patches. Yay! Lol!
I didn't get any alum feedback on my dome, face and neck. Splashed on the matching aftershave to end this nice shave.
Tomorrow, I will do a shavette shave, but it will be with a 19 hr stubble because I will be attending a Christmas party at 3 pm. So, this will keep me on schedule for late afternoon shaves. Take care.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Palmolive Naturals Olive & Milk Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 48.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Williams Mug Shaving Soap.
Razor: Parker 98R. (Face) - Gillette 365. (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr.(Head/Dome) (Settings) 4-wtg, 4-xtg/atg +pick-ups. - Personna Injector PTFE. (D2.)

Post:
Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Alum Rub. / Cold Water Face & Head Rinse. Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. / Williams Aqua Velva ASL. /Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

The razor & blade duo paired together superbly, mowing through my stubble effortlessly.

I haven't used my 98R for some time and remembered to rub my finger tips with my alum block to give it extra grip due to the handle getting slippery when wet. It's the only razor I have in my Parker collection with this problem all the rest have a fantastic grip. Nevertheless, the 98R is still a good razor.

The Williams soap provided me with a slick protective lather, and a equally good post shave feel.

A very close comfortable face & head shave with errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Well, what a rebound from yesterday! What do I mean. Well, I'll explain: This soap(Mama Bear)will be around a looong time. Tough nut to crack. That's what I said about the Razorock Lime Burst until I FINALLY got it to crack some after 3 or 4 summers. Anyway...this morning's shave was real good. All areas did great. I had to redo the East(right)side of North Porcupine(the same aresa that got those 5 Knicks yesterday), thus a little extra work there solved the whisker problem. 2 passes. Zdero Cuts, Knicks, and Polka-dots. Beau Brummel produces just the right amount of tobacco to be comfortable. Outts This World Excellent.
