I have been eyeing McDuffs, how do you like the soap? Probably won’t obtain another soap until 2024. Going to try a NB on soaps for 2023. Can’t say that will apply to aftershave or EdPs.

i would acquire an autumn cabin tub before you start your nb.it's worth it.the scent is very nice and the soap's performance and post shave are outstanding.i was really impressed.

I just found out the other day that Angora Soaps is permanently closing on Jan 1. This is my tribute shave to that company. Although I only have one soap from them, I enjoyed their Lavender Midnight. It's a shame because the soap performs well.
I did a two passer and got a near BBS shave without any errors. The alum feedback was negligible. Splashed on the matching aftershave to end this session. Take care.

DecemBOAR! Focus -- Monday Morning Edition

Razor: Gillette old type
Blade: Gillette Nacet
Brush: Zenith 80B XSE Unbleached
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat

Same setup as Saturday but using a fresh Nacet blade. The Gillette "Old" type is a razor I will get along with just fine. Nice level of efficiency, two pass BBS shave, no cuts or irritation. This razor may just be my best shaving purchase this year.

I decided to break from my traditional my Micromatic Darkfall Monday shave as I had a Christmas luncheon to go to with a group of retired teachers. Therefore, the Dickens Revisted received the call. Not to worry, the Darkfall will be back on earnest next Monday.

The MMOC delivered a phenomenally close shave. My face was ultra smooth and with a great Christmas scent to boot.
