Super shave prior to my meet up with Joe, @Trigger, for our monthly LI Chapter of the 30DC. I managed to get a wonderful shave even though I noticed a more pronounced blade feel with the JAWS than usual. This was shave number 5 for the blade so I am sure that factor played into the feel. The blade went into the porcelain blade bank as a result.

The Lather Bros. Soap produce a voluminous lather with the assistance of the Semogue synthetic. The scent description of the soap is as follows: “…scent of tobacco, guava and papaya.”

Once again, Joe and I had great conversation for our two plus hour breakfast. Additionally, we had our favorite waitress keep the coffee flowing.

Wonderful shave and setup Joe. The morning breakfast meeting was great as usual. 2.5+ hrs went by so fast. It also helps that our regular waitress is friendly and cute as well.

Today marks my 4th TSD Anniversary. I can't believe how quickly time passed. Looking back, I was a relative newbie to open blade shaving and ignorant of the vast knowledge of this hobby. Incredibly, there will always be something new to learn, but I want to thank the members that have come and gone as well as the current members that made my journey easier. I never imagined how far I have progressed in this hobby. Again, I thank you guys very much.
OK, let me get on with my shave. Of course, Max got the call for this important milestone. I decided to do a Santa Claus Beard with the Stirling Frankincense and Myrrh SS because of the appropriateness of the year.
Did a 2 pass shave that was very solid, except I got a micro weep near my left ear. It's been a long time since Max drew some blood, but at least it was a love tap. Lol! Anyway, the alum took care of it and there was very little feedback. Splashed on the matching aftershave and I was good to go. Take care.

very cool.my next adventure is testing a vintage Personna 74 blade to see how many shaves it goes..

 

You may get 20 shaves on one blade. My Personna Hairshaper Blade in my Dovo shavette has 18 shaves. Of course, I am going for 20 which would be a personal record.
