December 21 - Arko Shave # 20 I completed Arko shave # 20 with no changes in my setup on two days of growth for excellent results. I'm having a ball using my Gillette Travel Tech. It performs as well as any of my other DE razors. Taking a lesson from @Primotenore, I now deploy Arko in my pre-shave routine and my evening face wash before bed. I also use it with reckless abandon during the shave, and I'm feeding it to every four-legged animal in the neighborhood. This will continue for awhile. I'm down to my last 5 GSB blades and a bit of Proraso aftershave balm. Looks like I'll be 3017'ing these items fairly soon. Odoriferously yours, Danger

Thursday, December 22 Day 30 Arko~~Simpson M7~~Cooper Monobilt/Spoiler~~Tom Ford Noir Anthracite Thanks for all of the compliments, friends. Truth is, it was a generous TSD member, who reached out to me. Most of you know, I had a Cooper, but sold it. It didn't close evenly and it bugged the crap out of me. This one closes properly and looks pretty nice to boot. Coop (sic) sings with each stroke. Lot's o' feedback. Looking forward to mixing it up when the Arko is "Tod". Friday, December 23 Arko~~Rubberset~~Cooper/Spoiler~~CFG Midnight Stag This is Day 31... You can see, I am about through this stick o' Arko The Monobilt has always been one go my favorite razors, especially from the design aspect. Simply brilliant AND a very fine tool for shaving. The Spoiler was a blade that Gillette must've regretted making, because of their longevity. That will not do, when you business model is to sell razor blades. Finished with, imo, is the best offering from Chiseled Face Groomatorium: Midnight Stag. This EdP is the only remaining CFG product in my den. It really is an ultra-masculine stank. Me likey. SWMBO... Well, you get the picture.
That's the second funniest name for a razor I've seen since being a member here-Monobilt. What waa the first. Mongoose. Funny names,but I'm sure they are great razors..
I'll break out my Mongoose, Paul, after I 3017 my last tuck of Gillette Silver Blue blades. It's a good razor, for sure. I've paired it up with a heavy stainless steel handle. It uses Feather SE blades. 30ish days to 3017 a stick of Arko? Does anybody else think @Primotenore runs fast and loose with shave soap? And now he dares to stink Dr. Mrs. Primo out with the Midnight Stag?
What is their definition of a "razor", I wonder. What do they do, pull the whiskers off their faces?????? Or do they mean disposeABLE razors?
