  1. Thanks Gary...I'm about ready to call Hub City Soap Co, a Bill Neumann ripoff. Why. The soaps cost about the same, but a Hub City aftershave is $11 less than that of a Bill Neumann-and both claim to be "skin food" products.

  6. Aaaah, probably nothing. I haven't yet done any reviews for Bill Neumann, and I have 3 products from BN. I "MIGHT" drop a little hint about their aftershaves being too expensive, but that will depend on how much of a nice man I am :). I should clarify a little of what I earlier said...the 4 oz. soaps from both companies cost the same, but if you go for th 1/2 lb. soap, it's $28(Bill Neumann). Hub City doesn't have the 1/2 lb. soaps.

  9. Dec 29 SOTE

    Good evening.

    Shavette Shave # 419
    Dovo
    Personna Hairshaper Blade (#20)
    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
Stirling Frankincense and Myrrh SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 24 hrs

    20221229_173843.jpg

Wow! I reached 20 shaves on a Personna Hairshaper Blade to attain my personal best. That comes out to 5 cents a shave and that's very economical in my book. I could have pushed it for another shave or two, but I don't need to be so frugal that I cut myself so I banked the blade. I will load a fresh blade when I use this razor again.
I did a 2 pass shave without any errors for a near BBS shave. The alum feedback was zero so it definitely was a close, and comfortable shave. Double-splashed the aftershave and I feel refreshed. Take care.
  10. Thanks Gary....congrats on the Burberry
