    An update on my "focus". I just purchased another fine brush from Jim (@Jayaruh), #326. I must say this brush is sweet. It's also a lather machine. I'm convinced that today's shave was better because of it. Thanks Jim![​IMG]

    I have to agree. I used my JR #290 Cashmere Brush this evening and got a nice creamy lather. I must say that I never have a bad lather with my 2 JR brushes.

    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 25 hrs

    I really don't use this razor as much as I should because it was my first traditional straight razor. Anyway, I picked it for tonight's shave along with one of my favorite scented soaps. I decided to bloom the soap and use the water as a preshave. It is a darker Lavender as opposed to Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender. The brush gave me a nice, creamy, voluminous and slick lather as well as stirring up the soap's glorious scent.

    Did 2 passes for a fine shave without bloodless or irritation. The alum feedback was slight. Splashed on that wonderful matching aftershave and I feel clean and refreshed. Enjoy your evening.

    It's too bad that you don't like the soap because it's named after you. I have the same feeling with Stirling Frankincense and Myrrh. It's over 3 years and I am still not finished with it.. However, I did make a serious dent that I am believing that I will finish it by the end of this winter. Happy New Year Pierpaolo.

    Not a all. I deeply love the soap made for me by a friend artisan on spanish forum.

    I was speaking of the Erasmic.
    And for this, in the last weeks I skipped two shaves.
    One on Epiphany (Carthusia Uomo, a great soap and parfume).
    One on the next sunday, with my soap. (Giardini La Mortella by Frankincense)
