That's a shame about WI. I'll chrck the Ogallala's. Too much clove in their Bay Rum, I seem to recall.
Day 9 I’m starting to become mildly ‘nose blind’ to the splash, methinks. Must resist the urge to up the dosage…
Thursday, January 12 Day Three La Savonnière du Moulin~~Simpson M7~~Barbasol Floating Head/Gillette 7 O'Clock Black~~Frederic Malle The Night Whoda thunk a 3017 could be so much fun Not Primo But...It is!** Poor Charlie's still 3017'ing Arko. Not I. **Grammar corrected.*** *** Corrected again!!!
I’m not sure if you’re serious actually, Charlie. Using Arko away from shaving for its scent and skin feel? Yeesh.
Joseph I have some artist club size Schick Proline blades. If you would like a few just send me a pm.
January 13, 2023 Feather Feather Shavemac D01 Flat Top Mithchell’s Wool Fat Small Batch Shave Tonic Happy Friday!!!! Happy Friday!!! Back to what seems to be my favorite razor of late. I have come to just adore the Feather razor so much it has me contemplating a major den clearance. As expected everything played nice together resulting in a wonderful shave.
good morning gents, fabulous fat shave.slight dent is appearing in the puck.will take a while but i'm enjoying this soap for work days.
Friday, January 13 Day Four La Savonnière du Moulin~~Rubberset 400/3~~Lady Gillette/7 O'Clock Black~~Small Batch Shave Tonic Friday the 13th proved very lucky for me. Great lather, number one. Picked up this Lady Gillette for a friend's wife, hoping she might enjoy traditional wet shaving, but that was not to be. I decided to give it a go and what a surprise? Fun razor to use and I REALLY like the long handle. I am still going to PIF it, because Primo certainly does not need another razor. Manly stank from the Derby City Chop Shop.
Something is going wrong. The more I use it, the less it is consumed. It’s actually not as bad as I thought. BTW, not good. https://theshaveden.com/forums/posts/2065437/
Saturday, January 14 Day Five La Savonnière du Moulin~~Semogue 2012 SE~~Cooper Monobilt/Gillette 7 O'Clock Black~~Aramis Tobacco Reserve This Semogue knot is their popular "mistura", a mix of boar and badger. There remains a slight "scritch" when face-lathering, but it has greatly subsided since purchasing it. Wonderful, creamy, rich, protective and slick lather from the Ass Milk. Last shave with the 7 O'Clock. Together with the Cooper, I even got a BBS shave on my neck. I should have purchased multiple bottles of the Aramis, considering it now brings $200 on Ebay. Why the heck did they discontinue this fantastic stank
