Happy Saturday Everyone. Another fantastic shave with the Feather and MWF. I am really enjoying this setup. Finally got the last of the Christmas decorations put up so I think I will reward myself with an adult beverage or two.

Not to pick nits, but to 3017, you must use that same product DAILY until it is gone. That happens to be the exact definition, as I found it online. I believe everything that I read on the inter web.

You can say whatever you want Paul. What do you say about Rise Superfoam :signs002:

Really nice shape, thanks Jason. Closes evenly, which, if you recall, was my complaint about my first Monobilt.

Spent some quality time with two (three) of the most gracious people I know, Charlie and Kathy. They don't get any better.

It's my favorite shave foam(that is, straight from a can...no soap&brush). I am a little disgusted at the "economy" persuasion of all this, in that it isn't quite the same thing as what many men enjoyed in the 50's+ with Rise Shave Cream, but iI'm satisfied. Course economy and business has hit shaving too, as we try to become "new wave" in everything. But now Superfoam is slowly evaportationg-ahhhh, you can get some at Ebay or Amazon, but there is no Rise Superfoam on the website that bears the Rise name. Weird, I know. I think a close second to Rise in performance and feel would be Gillette Foamy. Barbasol's great, but you don't get that soft feel you get with Rise and Gillette. Well, I just miss Rise is all. I'd LOVE to see Rise Supefoam in pucks! Better yet, Vintage Rise in pucks. Well, we have so many great products today, I can wait.

Grest shot of the four of you.
Oh ok....forget me doing a 3017....By my third straight shave of one product, I'm ready to try another. Sometimes it's two straight.

We had a wonderful time today with you and Francesa, Joseph! We're already looking forward to our next meet up. :)

P.S. Just like we agreed...I won't mention your uncontrolled burping episode. We'll skip the carbonated drinks with free refills next time. At least they allowed us finish our lunch in the parking lot (downwind, of course) after they escorted us out of the dining room.

Pulled out the MonoBilt…was inspired by the Maestro. Not even the awesome Cooper can turn the Ladas into a nice blade.

Charlie, is this the beginning of your long travel adventure? Or did they come to Kentucky?

Thanks Paul. If I ever show up in your hometown and somehow manage to keep my mouth shut, the Mayor will no doubt award me with the Key To The City. I'll be sure to steer clear of the Piggy Wiggly for my personal safety. :D
Joseph, I, and our beautiful Brides met for lunch at very cool pizzeria/pub. We live a couple hours from each other, so we found a nice halfway point. We had a great time and plan to meet again sometime.

Well I guess I got it half right then...they "came to Kentucky" to see you(chuk yuk yuk). Course I presume they live there, too.

Rare, scuttle-shave today. This piece of pottery was thrown by my niece.
The lather held up well to the warmth, as opposed to soaps like MWF, which'll dissolve before your eyes.
Gillette Silver Blue razor blades have some serious glue dots. :angry019:

I'm sure she was just having a bad day, Joseph. You know, anger management counseling is reported to be quite effective. At least the scuttle didn't break, and hopefully you got to finish your shave first.
Thanks for steadfastly leading the charge against glue dots on blades, soap granules, dark boar brush hairs, and Oudless (useless) frags. By the way, we never heard of any such problems when you were shaving with Arko. :lyrtuy5:
