Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/ Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Original Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega S10019.
Face Lather.
Lather: Nivea Men Body Shaving Stick.
Blade: Ninja Stainless. (D1)
Razor: Merkur 37C Slant.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. / Gummy Traditional Turkish Tobacco Cologne. / Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

Early morning Shave,

Every traditional wet shaver should experience shaving with a slant bar razor. I for one was very hesitant about purchasing one, thinking you had to master a entirely different shaving method, because of the slant angle, how stupidly mistaken i was, on my maiden shave with both the 37c & it's bigger sister the 39c became a instant joy to shave with.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Awesome Monday shave. The ATT took care of two days growth with no problems. The Shore Shave beat the brakes off of the Snake Bite for some wonderful lather.

Timeless Razor ALSB45 aluminum razor.
Feather blade (fresh).
Yaqi 24mm synthetic brush.
Soap Commander Fortitude shave soap.
Timeless Razor shave bowl.
American Tobacco by Andy Hilfiger cologne.

First run with the Timeless Razor aluminum.....awesome!

I knew going in the the ALSB45 is a mild razor so I parred it with a fresh Feather. I really like the feel of the razor in the hand and the handle seems to fit my sweet spot on handles......right diameter and the grip is very comfortable.

The angle is easy to find and the razor just fell into place. A few more shaves and this baby will be dialed in.

Three very nice smooth passes with just a hint of alum.

Overall I'm glad I added this razor to the den. It had been on my radar for a while and when a good deal presented itself I had to bite.

I had breakfast at the Senior Center and then played some guitar with friends there for 3 hours. I introduce 3 new songs today by John Prine. I am getting pretty clean with my finger-picking now.

They like the fact that we play there. We have been aasked to provide the music for a gathering (Winter Doldrums) event on March 20th. I had to learn a few John Prine songs for a couple of ladies who like his songs. They were happy today that I gave them 3 songs by Prine.

 

That 15 is a sweet looking razor!
