    Tallow + Steel Kyoto~~Rubberset 400/3~~Feather DX/Schick Proline~~St. Johns Indian Gold
The Rubberset (REAL Rubberset, @Paul Turner ) :happy097: whipped up a spectacular suds.
The Feather DX was loaded with the second-use Proline, courtesy of @clint64 and while it left a few weepers,
managed to mow down the stubble.
I want to say, we are very fortunate to have such an amazing group of members (99% at least) who frequent
this thread and most of TSD.
I have realized, that I cannot change people's behavior and can only conduct myself in the manner I would wish to be treated by others.
TSD is still the "Internet" with its share of trolls, but thankfully, there's an ignore button.
Thanks for making TSD a great respite from the rest of the world!

  2. For the right price, I'll teach you my "fast 'n loose" lathering technique. :signs136:
  3. It's probably the way those video freax do it....I just watch'em and
say "I guess it works, but.......NOT ME"

So much for keeping up with daily shaves. I feel off the wagon and it ran me over. I will try to do better go forward. If not this MWF is going to take a very long time to finish. Early morning shave with an evening post. Despite being what many would call a mild razor, the AS-D2 mowed down several days of growth with ease. I really enjoy this using this lineup.
  6. Just the opposite, Paul.

  7. Day 2 of my 3017 went much better than yesterday. The brush was the Maggard Marble Handle, all else was the same as the opener. Great job all around.I was quite careful going over yesterday's cuts and Knicks around S. Porcupine. No additional pain. Much better down at Cactus Nation. 2 passes. This one gets the top grade-As Outstanding As It Gets.

  8. But they do it "fast and loose", just as you're describing your way.
  9. Mine is a copyrighted process. If I find out who's performing this technique and broadcasting it on YouTube, I will have to call my patent attorneys, Dewey, Cheatum and Howe.
  10. Not Dr Howard Dr Fine and Dr Howard???

  11. No, they are my physicians. Why would I call my doctors to address a copyright infringement?

The hole in the soap is getting wider. I’d guess 5-7 shaves left.
  13. Well, let me say this is not untrue(oh, I just said it now, chuk yuk yuk)

  16. Yes, @Paul Turner you are drooling  over lather, created with the "Fast 'n Loose" ™© lathering technique. :happy036:
  17. I may be doing that, but I can only do my best at lathering, and if it can't match up to the video freax and others, well then "K. Sera Sera".
