i prefer 1940's brit oc razors to shave with on a regular basis,i do like the slim and super 84 lately so it's time to try a fatboy again.got a deal from a friend.my first fatboy had alignment issues.my second was mint/cased and i got good $$ for it.this one is clean, mechanically sound, and caseless.if i like it i'll keep it.:)

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Another smooth efficient performance from the with the Merkur 39C slant / Ninja Stainless duo.

The Lider Turkish boar brush i soaked in tepid water for 5 minutes, after a quick squeeze to release the excessive water it building up a wonderful lather on both my face & head- adding water to the tips of the brush until i got the consistency of which I like.

A close comfortable face and head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Cucumber Moisturising Lotion.

My face & precious swede are feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Terrific Arko shave Barry. Arko has always created a rich and slick lather for me. I get my best headshaves from it. Enjoy your afternoon.

Thank you, joe. My head/dome shave this morning with the humble Arko stick was superb. I also get the same result from the Derby Stick too. Have a great Saturday.

Today is a no shave day for me. That Feather DX shavette got me really close.
For my next shave. Vintage Gillette that I have not used in a while

    Good afternoon.

    Straight Razor Shave #436
    13/8 Art Razor 1000
    Rockwell 6C (Headshave setting #4)
    ***Rockwell DE Blade (3rd use)***
    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
Stirling Tsuka SS, AS and EdT
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 23 hrs
    Dome Growth: 2 days

    20230211_154823.jpg

I am going out to a singles get together this evening so I decided to do a face and headshave. Of course, I used Tsuka because it has a masculine/ cologne scent.
I just love the Rockwell 6C on setting 4 for headshaves. ***I used this razor for a face and headshave with the same blade late last month and I mistakenly posted that it was 3rd and 4th use, but in actuality it was first and second use.*** Three pass shave plus touchups gave me a cueball smooth result without any problems.
Artie gave me a near BBS shave without incident on 2 passes.
Alum on face and neck gave zero feedback, but some was on the back of my neck near my ears. Splashed on the aftershave and there wasn't any burning. Spritzed the matching EdT to finish this session. I will be leaving in a little over an hr. so I will lightly refresh the EdT on my wrists and a shot on my neck. Take care.
