I love them. I don’t think they turned me into a chef, but I can watch them endlessly. They soothe me, like Bob Ross, except with food. My favorite is “Lidia’s Kitchen”. But I watch them all. New and old. What say you?
I have been going old school and watching Jacques Pepin and Martin Yan recently. A lot of times, it is also on youtube if I want to learn a technique or make something in particular, I will watch a bunch of videos and figure something out. Right after university, I worked back of house in a number of up scale / fine dining places. A few of the chefs still cook and post on social media. I like following them and seeing the food they produce with the stories behind them.
Yep Shows and YouTube find a ton of good ideas that I might not have come up with on my own This one really upped my Hash Brown game I have hardly adjusted anything over the years
I've watched several of his episodes. Good stuff. I do enjoy the BBQ cook-off shows. As others have mentioned, a great source for tips and tricks.
