Had an excellent Monday morning shave: Zingari Man Sego soap is definitely top-tier with easy, slick lather; the Supply SE is a comfortable mild shave; and the Zingari Man Recovery Splash is soothing and leaves my face feeling great!

Prep: Warm shower:/ Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears with Lemon Flower Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Face Lather.
Lather: Pears Transparent bar Soap + Wilkinson Sword Soap bowl.
Blade: Statum Platinum Chrome. (D1)
Razor: Merkur 37C Slant.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. /Brut ASL./Baylis & Harding Amber & Sandalwood ASB.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Baylis & Harding Amber & Sandalwood ASB.

The Tabac Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 2-band Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Baton handle Treet SE Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Once again I’m frozen stiff from this beautiful bay rum scented soap and aftershave which I bought not too long ago. My brother Fernando’s talent at producing soaps and aftershaves is unbelievable - his Frosted Bay Rum soap is a tallow based treasure with absolutely AWESOME lather that whips up so thick, rich, mega slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation is POWERFUL, and the skincare is A1. The Prep delivered its wonderful extra postshave care, and the Frosted Bay Rum aftershave went on frigidly cold along with its delightful scent that somehow seems to pair well with the Aramis fragrance that I also love. What a super duper three pass BBS shave this was!

You make some of the most interesting still and moving photo's on the shaving forums! Oh just remembered, that is one nice looking Gillette toggle razor, it looks like a new coating on it.

 

ASRazor shave, Tuesday, February 21st 2023

Razor : Gem Feather weight 1st Generation- Mfg 1950-52, 2nd Gen 1953-54, mild to tame mid range, 1 Oz weight, this razor is the super speed of the Gem or ASR razors depending on experiences and technique of course. Very enjoyable carefree shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(6) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood, nice scent of Bayrum & sandalwood( some clove) with great lather qualities. I cut a few slivers and press in bowl to load the brush or make some bowl lather. Bowl lather is then apply to a wet face and paint on or splay lather to face until a nice cream appears add a little water as needed works well for myself. It bowl slightly different than other soaps has been my experiences. Nice soap!
Brush :Yaqi "Tail coats" 24mm synthetic, excellent lather painter, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. This brush knot is very similar face feel to my Silver tip badger (G4?) and handle works well also.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Gem Feather weight with a coated Gem blade.
