Awesome setup, pic and shaves Barry. Didn't know Wilkinson Sword made boar brushes. Have a great afternoon.

My Stirling order will finally be delivered to my residence today. It was shipped 8 days ago and somehow made a wrong turn and landed in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Thank you, Joe. The WS boar was my first brush when I introduced myself to the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving. It's not the best of brushes but it serves it's purpose wonderfully. WS also do a synthetic version too, which i may purpose in the near future.

I had a bit of a better shave this morning than yesterday, although I had a cut DURING it. The cold water rinse and A.S. helped calm it down. Another round with the Hub City Soaps West Texas (they call it "WTX"). Cheeks&sideburns look and feel nice and clean. Ditto both ends of Porcupine Alley. The cut occurred at the jawline, along the left side. Cactus Nation turned out fine, but I still need to get it ALL done (missed under the jawline on the right side). The Stoylin Unscented A.S. was the one to use for this soap(and I'll be using it again later in the week-stay tuned). Much softer than yesterday's leather. Maybe a bit tingly at the very beginning, but it calmed things down quickly(as I earlier said). Very Outstanding.

    Good afternoon.

1968 Gillette Slim Adjustable (setting 7)
    Gillette Winner DE Blade (?)
    Semogue OC Super Badger Brush
    Stirling Bergamot Lavender SS
    Proraso Green AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 1 day

I just completed a bloodless 3 pass shave.
I haven't used my Slim Adjustable in a few months so it got the call. I got a nice, smooth comfortable BBS shave. Had some alum feedback, but it was not terrible. Splashed on the Proraso Green aftershave and it gave me a nice soothing feel to my skin. Take care.

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Genco - Getico 5/8”
    Brush: RazoRock Plissoft “Beehive” 28mm
    Lather: Arko
Aftershave: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue
    Additional Care:
    Maggards Alum
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original
    Nivea Sensitive Balm

First shave in the Southern den since New Years. I decided to go with a simple classic shave of Arko and Av. The Genco razor delivered a super smooth and comfortable shave. The missus approved of the smoothness which is always a good thing.

Getting ready to head out to dinner with a few of my high school friends that live in the Sunshine state. Let the high jinx commence. It is always a good time when we get together.

Thanks Joe. I should be receiving them by the end of the week or early next week. Unless they get misdirected to San Jaun Puerto Rico. Lol!

Tuesday February 21 - Favourites February

Razor: Supply 2.0 matte black injector with SE open comb plate/ Supply Black Label (9)
Brush: APShaveCo 24mm APLuxury bulb (boar/badger mix) in Elegant Emerald handle
Soap: TOBS Lavender shave cream (croap)
Post: Thayers Alcohol-free Unscented Witch Hazel spritz, TSD Lavender Aftershave Milk

My last shave was February 10, so nearly 12 days ago (I was shaving just before midnight tonight). I am not doing very well on my plan to do daily shaves in February...

Same setup as last shave, except for the brush. Also, I skipped the alum rub this time.

I shaved after showering, so my beard had been soaked and softened. Two passes were nearly sufficient to bring me back to DFS. I noticed a small patch I had missed on my neck and touched it up using the witch hazel spritz as the lubricant.

The TSD Lavender aftershave milk smells pleasant but not overpowering and is soothing and moisturizing without being greasy.

Hope everyone enjoys good health and great shaves this month!

Terrific lineup and shave John. You can't go wrong with a lavender scent. Enjoy your day.

Closed out(for now)the Hub City Soaps(West Texas)/Stoylin Unscented A.S. grouping. An OK shave(not bad but not great). Nice along the cheeks&sideburns and North Porcupine Alley(just under the nose), but big problems at South Porcupine, in the form of K.N.I.C.K. 3 of'em. No pain, they just "happened". I must give S. Porcupine some extra attention tomorrow. . Maybe I didn't cover the area with enough shave soap. The jawline and most of . Cactus(neck)turned out "average" with 2 more Knicks(one in each area). 2 passes. No Cuts, 5 Knicks, and No polka-dots. I'm betting on Throwback Thursday to be much better for me, Pretty Outstanding. More shave soap is a requirement for tomorrow,
