It's my last shave of the month so I wanted to end it with a straight razor shave. The Dovo Best Quality was my second straight razor. It's a small razor compared to my other ones. Every time I use a 5/8 or a 6/8 straight razor, it's like shaving with a toy. However, I know to still be focused whenever I use a straight.
Anyway, the brush made a great lather. I bloomed the soap and then face lathered. It was quite easy.

Did 2.5 passes that was just shy of BBS. Didn't damage my skin because there were no cuts or irritation. It was a nice, comfortable shave. There was some feedback from the alum, but it was tolerable. Splashed on a generous portion of the Pinaud-Clubman Classic aftershave and boy did I feel the burn. I feel clean and refreshed. Tomorrow starts a new month and I need to get busy on my intro. Another fine Proraso shave this morning. I decided to go with the AC type Shavette. It delivered a super smooth, irritation free shave.

The Epsilon Horse hair brush whipped up a nice lather. As we end the month I am quite satisfied that I Edmund Fitzgerald the tub of Prairie Song and close to finishing off this tube of Proraso.

I need to come up with a plan for the month of March. Since the month begins with the letter “M”, I may focus on using at least half of my shave with any of the soaps I have stored in a mug. Also, I will continue with my DG/CL soap usage on Mondays. Of course the Proraso should meet its demise by the end of the month as well.

A lot of people have offered it. I'll try someday, but all I can do is my best, given what HE gave to me. For the time being, I'll work on different ways(adding a pass, warm/hot lather, change the grain direction around some).

Prep: Warm shower:/ Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Original Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: omega 10066.
Face Lather.
Lather: Arko + Palmolive Classic Shave Sticks. (Grated)
Blade: Statum Platinum Chrome. (D2)
Razor: Parker 55SL Semi-Slant.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse. / Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. /Brut ASL + Splash-On Lotion./ Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

Early morning shave.

An enjoyable shave to finish my slant razor, sub-continent blade focus & shaving week off superbly.

Throughout the past month or so, my revisiting sub-continent blade focus has been a pleasure. All of the blades that i have revisited have gave me close comfortable shave.

The Statum Platinum Chrome are my new favourite blade which are equal with the Treet 7-Day platinum. Both of these blades are incredibly smooth sharp & efficient and will add them to my blade rotation more regularly in my future SOTD set ups.
Starting next week I'll be revisiting my Egyptian & Turkish made DE blades for the next month or longer pairing them up with various DE razors.

A very comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine.
