Happy Tuesday. Early morning shave with an early evening post. This very easily could be my favorite lineup period. Everything just flat works for me. If I do my part, I don't think I could find better tools to work with. I hope everyone has a great day.

Definitely starting to see an indent in the soap.

Another early morning shave with a mid afternoon post. This little boar punches well above its price point. Now that the brush is broken in it is a pleasure to use producing lather with ease. The MWF is a bit of good news and bad news. The good news is that I have used 35 grams of soap. The bad news is that I have 90 grams of soap remaining. I just hope I have this finished before summer vacation. While I like the container, I do find it a bit narrow. I might transfer the soap to a bigger bowl to make loading and lathering easier.

Gentlemen, those Karves are beautiful razors. If I was in the market for a new one, that'd be it.

Charlie, can you remember the fellow who loved Karve Razors and did some Stoylin videos? Travelled a lot, as I recall.

Not sure, Paul. Karve + Stirling is a great combination, though.

Oh, I'm sure it is. As for the video guy, he loved Varen.

Happy Friday Eve! I am up and moving way too early for me. At least I managed to get in a good shave to start the day.

Surface area is the KEY to an effective and efficient 3017.

I did move the soap to a larger diameter bowl. The lather this morning was just phenomenal.

Applications are being accepted for participants in a research study comparing Fast 'n loose and Goldilocks lathering methods. It has been a challenge recruiting a statistically significant number of novice shavers to properly evaluate the Fast 'n loose methodology. Nevertheless, the quest to advance shaving science continues.

I commented on this "Fast N Loose"methodology and someone wondered what I was talkinabout. I had to do a "Fast n Loose Take 2". I'm not familiar with Goldilocks.

Yup. All jokes aside (strange coming from me, I know…), novice shavers often make the mistake of not taking ‘didn’t load enough product’ out of the lather making equation.

Same gear as a few days ago; I took the easy way out and recycled the pic.

I gave this some thought…if I was only allowed to keep 5 razors (completely unnecessary, I realize), the Karve with a D plate is on that list. The only modern DE actually.
Along with a SS Supply with the 2 dot plate, a Gillette NEW LC, a Cooper MonoBilt and a Barbasol Floating Head. The FH isn’t a daily driver for me like the other 4, though.

They read the posts: "Ten swirls was plenty of soap". When I see these comments, I chuckle.

I would be hard-pressed to pick only 5 razors.
