Thursday, March 9 Day Sixteen MWF~~Semogue "Mistura"~~Feather AS-D2/Feather (4)~~Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua The Fat is fully hydrated and quite easy to load. The Semogue is a SE from 2012 and the knot is a 50/50 Badger/Boar mix. I have always been a huge fan of these knots, as this is the third one I have owned. This one is a keeper. Who knows how many shaves remain on this puck???

Day 15 No end in sight for this 3x milled soap. Switched from the Karve to a New Improved. Also a nice shaver…an art deco beauty as well.
March 10, 2023 Blackland Sabre Level 1 Gem PTFE PAA ShaveRite Mitchell’s Wool Fat Speick After Shave Happy Friday Everyone. After using the Karve for a few days, I can safely say that the razor is one that I really enjoying using. The PAA ShaveRite with its mixed knot loaded and lathered the MWF with ease. Using the daily really takes the soap up to another level. I have found using the same soap everyday allows for a better evaluation of the razors. Onto the Backland Sabre for next 5 or 6 shaves. I decided to start with the level 1 baseplate. A wonderful smooth and efficient shave. I really can't ask for better.
We all enjoy our hobby in different ways, Paul, and that's what counts. I focus on certain aspects of my routine and improve my technique where I can. I also enjoy consolidating shave den consumables (soaps, creams, aftershaves, colognes, blades, etc.) in my shave den. This all lends itself well to these 3017s. Others, like yourself, enjoy changing things up frequently. It's all good.
