Well, I was able to complete one project after my injury, and also before my surgery on Monday. @Primotenore sent me this case a while back, and to put it mildly, it was kind of crappy. It looked like it sustained water damage at one point, but I figured, why not. The top was basically a total rebuild, using just three of the original sides. I gave the case a pebbled finish and brought back the color of the lining using the dry brushing technique. Made a cloth hinge for the back and added it's hinge cover on the inside..........

@jimjo1031 is an absolute master at taking trashed cases or razor boxes and making them like almost new. Great work here.

Here is another one of his taking trash and making it whole again projects he did for me awhile back. That box was toast before he got through with it.

How are you doing post-surgery?

It was cancelled because they forgot to include a med needed for pre-surgery. Re-scheduled for around the end of next month.

Sorry to hear it... I know that has to be frustrating to be put back on the waiting list.
