I had a Keep on Truckin’ t shirt when I was a kid. An Iron On stencil, iirc. God bless the 70s…
Hope you’re feeling better, Joseph. In your absence we voted you our Poet Laureate. Your recital of Shelley narrowly defeated @wristwatchb reading the side of a bottle of Ol Grandad…

@Frijolero Robert, are you still in?
@brit Gary, from your SOTD posts, can we assume you’re out?

I just completed day 10 of my enjoyable Stirling Arkadia 3017. My every other day shaves have been boo-boo free and consistently fantastic. As an aside, Stirling and Mike's Natural Soaps provide everything I want in artisan shave soaps: great performance, variety of nice scents, fair prices, and good folks standing behind their products.

Although not much has changed, I'll post a SOTD photo in the next day or two. I've been SOTD-AWOL lately due to family stuff and home projects. I think the puck has actually grown since I started. I have other Haiku's floating around in my head. Perhaps I'll share one unless I find something more interesting written on a Four Roses Single Barrel bottle...

I also have bottles of Aramis, Fine L'Orange Noir aftershave, Thayers Witch Hazel and Crystal Hot Sauce (32 oz.!) on the ropes. More to come.

Hope y'all are having a great week.

Congrats. An enjoyable focus for sure
    +1
    Mikes is a superb lather
I’m sure a four roses single barrel is more interesting than Ol Grandad… we never see it here. Other single barrels make it across the border, but not four roses.

MWF~~Semogue~~Kampfe Bros. Star Razor/Gem~~Tom Ford Tuscan Leather
Just got my restored case back from Jim @jimjo1031 and had to show it off.
Jim's quite talented and he literally resurrected this case from the garbage heap.
    :happy096: kind sir.
Day Twenty-Four and the MWF is a stubborn soap.
Continues to produce quality lather, but at the cost of extreme longevity.
The TF stank is one of his best.

Joseph, the Star Razor/Gem and its case are real eye-catchers. @jimjo1031 restored the case beautifully! :happy088:

How would you rate the Tom Ford scents overall? I'm curious about your impressions given their relatively high price.

    Still in!

Day 60 and day 70 weigh ins were 42 (down from 47) and 38 grams. I just noticed that day 80 came and went Tuesday. Oh well. But by now I'm pretty sure that I'm right around the half way point.

(Since I started on Jan 1, and haven't skipped any days, a day-of-year calendar makes it simple to keep track.)

Considering the fact that I actually like Midnight Stag, I will recuse myself from any Tom Ford comments.

    Simpson CH2 Synthetic
    Gillette 7 O’clock Black
    Mitchell’s Wool Fat
    Speick After Shave

Happy Friday Everyone. The big CH3 synthetic tore through the soap this morning while producing a wonderful slick lather. Maybe I need to stick with the Simpson synthetic brushes to make a serious dent in the Fat. I think the Speick after shave will be done and dusted before the Fat.
