Two 8x2x.5" translucent and one 8x2x.25" surgical black Arkansas stones. Both of the trans arks need to be lapped, so a miserable future awaits me.

I saw this Kent M3 shaving brush ...... they rarely come up in any condition. So when I saw this one, obviously suffering from celluloid rot, I made an offer and message the seller this .......

"My low offer is due to the bad celluloid rot in the bottom material. I question whether it can be restored. I would really like to try to restore it."

.............. My offer was accepted. :happy093:

I look forward to receiving it and start the work.

You going to try to seal it in resin or just replace the bottom? I think it looks cool as is, but wouldn't want it around the house, if you know what I mean...

As cool as it could be ..... it's like keeping a leper.................... I plan on replacing the base.

I was watching this Gillette razor and checking on it every so often. And being the only bidder, I won it, less than $11.00 shipped..........

I was watching it for bit of time and the seller made me a reasonable offer that I accepted. Wanted a Gillette Single Ring and this one looked in nice shape and I'll just sell the remaining kit.

I saw this Kent V8 that needs a bit of TLC, but they don't come up often and I'm a sucker for hard luck cases. I made a very low ball offer and it was accepted.

Not really shaving related... Bought this to use as a marking knife for laying out lines during wood working. What it actually is, is a ink knife, used for correcting old fountain pen mishaps.

I'm aware of the irony of my first Geo. Wosty 'IXL' being a knife, not a razor.

    Cool blade.

I researched a blade like that about six years ago when a fellow member was trying to discover what they had. They weren't especially thrilled finding out.

I read that thread or a similar one yesterday, and it looked exactly like what I was needing. I'll need to re-profile the blade, but it was cheaper than your typical marking knife off Etsy.

I thought of making a marking knife from a saw blade. Really not too hard with a disc grinder, drill press and a sander.
