    Good afternoon

    Schick I-1
    Ted Pella Injector Blade (4)
    Rockwell 6C (setting 4)
    Rockwell DE Blade (?)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
Stirling Tsuka SS, AS and EdT
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 31 hrs
    Dome Turf: 3 days

    20230325_170339.jpg

Did a face and dome shave because I am going out this evening. Everything went well.
Stirling Tsuka is a great scent for an evening out. It has a nice, masculine, cologne vibe. The Stirling lather performs like it always does.

The Schick I-1 gave a near BBS shave on 2 passes without pickups and without errors.
The Rockwell 6C have me a cueball smooth shave on 3 passes and minor pickups. Setting 4 on this razor is my sweet spot

I used my new Stirling Alum Block and I am glad to say there wasn't any feedback. Splashed on the aftershave and did a nice number of spritzes from the EdT. I look clean and refreshed. Yes, I smell nice, too. Take care.

    Growth: 24 hours
    Lather Bowl: white lather bowl
Brush: Puro Tasso, well used Boar
Razor: My latest Gillette Tech with flatter cap
    Blade: Astra SP day 1
    Face Prep: HWS x 3.
    Pre shave: Proraso White
Cream/Soap: TOBS tobacco + TOBS Jermyn Street + 3 drops glycerine
Post Shave: HWR, CWR, Alum, Thayers.
    Aftershave: Brut AS

    Passes:
1st pass: WTG, Chevron-ing down the cheeks, top lip N-S down and out. Bottom lip N-S and diagonally down and out. Zone 1 NE-SW
2nd pass: Cheeks Ear to Nose. Top Lip nose to ear down and out.
3rd pass: Cheeks and s/b N-S + chevron, top lip ear to nose XTG.
Hairline at the back of the neck.

Touch ups: Top lip lower outer to upper inner XTG. Lower lip gillette slide both directions. Not as easy with this Tech so bailed out early to achieve a DFS

Results: DFS but residual stubble to the right of Adam's apple. Annoying area.

Lather was excellent with no hint of drying out, if anything it may have been a bit on the light side.
Nicks: felt a few nicks, this razor’s head is flatter and feels different even though the blade exposure seems to be the same as my other Tech.
    Red spots: None
Alum burn: Some burning back of neck.

Hmmmm: This Tech is different. I normally like the Astra SP, but not today. It felt like the Razor was too light and skipping over the face, a bit skittish, not safe enough to apply to pressure. Had to rely on the razor and overall although it was a success it was not enjoyable.
Nowhere near as comfortable as my R89 and Derby Premium.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
    Pears Original Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: AP Shave Co 24mm Cashmere Synthetic.
    Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Cella Bio Organic Aloe Vera Shaving Cream.
Blade: Silver Star Super Stainless. (D2)
    Razor: Muhle R89.

    Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. /Brut Attraction Totale ASL./Aloe Vera Gel.

    Greetings,
    A relaxing Sunday morning shave.
It's been a while since I've last added the Cella extra extra Bio shaving cream to my shave set ups, and forgot how good this vegan version of it's tallow sibling performs. Like the tallow version it's slick protective and doesn't dry out on my face and leaving my face feeling hydrated and smooth. I intend to use this cream more often in future shaves.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

Awesome pic, post and shave Chris. I don't own a Gillette Tech but I have read that they are mild razors. Enjoy your day.

Wonderful shave and post Barry!. Cella is a fine soap. I have the regular Cella, but unfortunately it's scent is gone. Enjoy your afternoon.

Thank you Joe. I too have the regular Cella, of which I really like with or without it's scent, the extra extra, bio has a clean fresh scent which is totally different to it's tallow sibling, but gives an equal shaving performance and post shave feel. Enjoy your day.

Thanks Joe, I have two Techs mainly because they are commonest things I can find in the "vintage" shops here. Interesting that they both shave differently.
Or maybe I was having an "off" day! I will park this one for another day.

Hope you all have a fine end to the weekend and a great week ahead.

    Good afternoon.

    Gillette Heritage Razor
    Gillette Platinum DE Blade (3)
    MrEE LE #10 Cashmere Brush
Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 23 hrs

    20230326_160348~2.jpg

I had a very nice shave with the Gillette Heritage Razor. It really is a good razor for my 1 day stubble. I have sang the praises of Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender so many times that there's no need to restate them.
Two passes gave me a close, smooth and comfortable shave. Did get a chin weep, but disappeared with the cold water. Alum was mostly silent and the splashing of the matching aftershave was like the cherry on top. Take care.

Excellent shave Barry. I have yet to try the Cella Bio soap though I have used the sample of the aftershave. It does have a nice scent.

Appears to be. The water reservoir of the mug is holding it up. That being said, the brush does perform magic when it come to the lathering process. Danny, @ Hembree, can vouch for this fact.

Thank you Joe. The Cella Bio is worth a try when you get the opportunity to do so...I'm the opposite, I have yet to try the aftershave.
