March 27, 2023 Hone 15S Simpson CH2 Synthetic Feather Mitchell’s Wool Fat Speick After Shave A very stormy night last night. We missed the worst of the storms. My prayers are with those in Mississippi and South Ga that suffered the deviation of tornadoes. I confess I am a sucker for design and aesthetics. The Hone 15s delivers on both counts plus it just flat works for me. A absolutely splendid drama free shave to start the day after a rough night.
My Dad used to have fun with that Rolaids commercial, where it asks for the spelling of the cure for a sour stomach. Instesd of "R..O...L..A..I...D...Sz" he'd say "T..U..M..S".

The Haslinger was a smaller puck to begin with, so I was lucky. I got pucks of MWF and LEA in yesterday. I can pretty much guarantee that neither will be my next 3017 focus…
I have LEA in the wooden bowl. It’s a really good soap. We have a big trip in mid June. I really hope I’m done with MWF before the trip. My next 3017 will be MdC Fougere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I finished the original MdC last year. With daily use it went more quickly than one would think but it was only half a jar. My Fougere is 2/3 to 3/4 remaining.

Tuesday, March 28 Day Twenty-Seven Not for the faint of heart, this 3017 challenge. There must be some poltergeist hiding in my bathroom, refilling my soap bowl every evening. Wednesday, March 29 MWF~~Simpson PL8~~RazoRock Game Changer .84 OC/Gillette Platinum~~St. Johns Indian Gold Day Twenty-Eight Anyone having lathering issues with MWF clearly doesn't use it enough. This stuff lathers itself. Still no donut hole, but translucence is nigh. Repeated the GC/Platinum for a extra-nice shave. Not pictured is my stank du jour: St Johns Indian Gold. March 29, 2023 Hone 15S Simpson CH2 Synthetic Feather Mitchell’s Wool Fat Speick After Shave Happy Wednesday Everyone. Day 54 of the Fat. I am pretty sure I used it most of December as well but I was not logging the uses. At least I can see the progress now. MWF is really a fantastic soap. I could easily be happy with it as my only soap.
Day 28 I thought today may be the last day, but the Haslinger will survive for another day. The Shulton OS though…c’est fini. I do have an extra full bottle of the iconic juice.
