The waitress at the other diner was nice, but matronly. This waitress has a nice personality and is easy on the eyes.

Today was a tribute to my early straight razor shaving days. I picked out my very first straight razor and my Omega Boar Brush.
Of course, I had to choose one of my favorite soaps and aftershaves as well.
Everything went well. Did a 2 passer with a minor neck touch-up for a BBS shave without any errors. The alum was silent and so was the aftershave. I smell clean and I am refreshed. I am only 9 open blade shaves away from hitting #900. Time flies when you are having fun. Have a great rest of the day gentlemen.

Prep: Warm shower:/ Dove Men+Care Clean Comfort Body + Face Wash.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Original Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Fine 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Fine Fresh Vetiver Classic Shaving Soap.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum. (D2)
Razor: Merkur 34C.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Cien Men Aqua ASL/ Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

It's been a while since last added the fine fresh vetiver soap to my soap rotation and forgot how good of a lather this soap gives in a short space of time.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine.

26 hours.

Arko! Success with bowl lathering.
Merkur Progress on #3, #2, #1 and then back to #2 for buffing.
This used to be a favourite razor, now I think this takes 2nd place to the few Gillettes I have.
GSB (1), I am still being patient with this one.
Simpsons Chubby 2. Hmm, this baby sucks up the lather and holds on to it. Not my preferred length of handle.

3 passes, with multiple touch up passes made possible with the Arko. Pleasant alum feedback. Thayer. Proraso after shave balm.

Wonderful start to a really relaxing Resurrection Sunday shave. Super result. Just some stubborn areas in right side of neck which refuse to submit (yet).
