Back to the Arko!

48 hours growth pre-work early morning shave.
Soap: ARKO dry loaded from the tub for around 50 seconds.
Boar Brush, then into my Shaving bowl, adding H20 progressively. This gives me better control.

Razor: Adjustable Gillette Slim 1963.
Setting on No 5 all the way.
Blade: Permasharp, taking this to Day 3 for the first time.
Post: HWR, CWR, Thayers, ProRaso Rinfrescante +++++ followed by Jo Malone Orange Bitters Cologne to take me into the day.

Result: super smooth shave. Great lather. I must say the leftover scent from the Arko over the first few hours is quite pleasing.
One slight weeper lower lip as expected for me with Day 3 blade going ATG here. Resolved on its own. Just part of shaving.

Leftovers: right side of Adam’s Apple. Still to be improved.

This blade still felt fine on Day 3, quite smooth actually despite Slim set to No 5.
I am still thinking I do better with growth > 24 hours.

Fine shave this morning, but could have been better. Nice work again by the Stoylin soap(Unscented Sheep). Then we get to the actual shaving. While the cheeks&sideburns came out great, not so on South Porcupine(chin), in the form of 4 Knicks. Too much force, no doubt. No pain, at least. No problems at Cactus. 2 passes. I think the Porcupine trouble happened during the second. Different arsenal for the week-end-hopefully I can improve from today(especislly alomg S. Porcupine). Nice to have the Mennen Skin Bracer for the aftershave. Closed with Mutamayez cologne(Swiss Arabia). Pretty Outstanding.

Another gorgeous morning leading up to a very warm afternoon. I took advantage of the comfortable temperatures this morning by taking my X3Bar workout outside on the patio. It was just fantastic.

This morning’s shave with the Genco razor was perfect. I have a few New York blades in my collection. New York blades are noted for their steel and the ability to be extremely sharp and hold an edge. Again, three passes to shave Nirvana.

Loading off the puck, I facelathered this soap into a creamy, slick goodness for my shave. Two passes plus a pickup on my right neck gave me a wonderful result. I didn't bleed and didn't get any irritation. That's a win-win. Did get slight feedback from the alum. Splashed on the fine matching aftershave to finish this session. I did record it and I should have it downloaded within a couple of days. It's only 17 minutes long. Lol. Take care.
