Day 5 I usually use this Myrsol product as a general purpose moisturizer (at which it is a star: non greasy, not an irritant and with a pleasant scent). After a day outside in cool and windy conditions, it made a fine aftershave as well.
I’ve always wondered about the Emulation. Sounds like something that would be nice here in the winter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
One added bonus- as it has no Alcohol, I was able to bring in a few bottles from Gifts&Care in Spain as well.
Cool. I might order some from Gifts and Care. My wife gave me a bottle of Thayer's after shave for Christmas which sounds very similar. I need to give it a try.

Day 6 Switched to the awesome Supply SE after being inspired by @clint64 posting his a few times. Even though it is technically adjustable, I don’t change it off the 2 Dot plate. It is perfect for me.
Fantastic choice Jason. I love the Supply Co razors. I too use the 2 dot plate on the V2 razors like yours. They make an adjustable razor as well that I run on 3-4 out of 6. The SE I used today that has little fins that are meant to guide hairs to the blade while preventing most nicks. The jury is out on that one. Having discovered a stash of Proline blades, I suspect I will be using my Supply razors more often. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Buddy of mine loaned me his. I was quite impressed. They handle better than their bulkiness would lead one to believe. I had a difficult time getting an extreme shallow angle on my upper lip. Disclaimer: I only shaved with it twice.
I am calling it. There were 6 "pieces" of soap, approximately 1/2" x 1/4" remaining in my bowl. They would not lie down; they would not adhere to the bowl; resulting in my brush fruitlessly swishing and swirling, without creating soap. I will say, a beautiful bubblebath ensued. It was a great ride and while I am not going to replace it in the near future, MWF is a Desert Island frontrunner. I have a few candidates for the next 3017. Gonna take the week to test out some soaps and make a decision then.
I’m very thankful that you made one available to me. It is a fave for sure. The Prolines are super blades as well. Having a modern ‘injector’ that you don’t need to feed from the cartridge makes them way less of a hassle than in vintage Injectors, too. I wonder why they made them without the guide lever…
The weight is a huge advantage over vintage Injectors, imho. They all work, though. I wish I hadn’t sold my PAL Injectomatic…I’d love another go with the ‘Meatgrinder’.
