This is my setup for tomorrow's shave. I will be going out tomorrow evening so I want to smell nice. I just polished Max so it looks so good.

    Nice shave and pic, Joe!

Hope you feel better soon. A weekend is a good time to pamper yourself a bit to make sure that congestion and cough doesn't bloom into something worse!

"Fougere Friday" sounds like a nice idea. I have some fougere soaps and splashes I haven't used in far too long. Also some vetivers that need some attention... maybe I should also do "Vetiver Vednesday"? Shave while using an accent stolen from Boris and Natasha of the old Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons?

Looks like a good setup. I like the way you have matched the handles on the brush and the razor -- colour coordination is important!

I am not familiar with Tsuka (unlike Stuka, which was a WW2 German dive bomber...). What does it smell like? (I trust the answer is not "napalm in the morning"?).

Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Alum Rub. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Paco Rabanne Pour Homme ASL. / Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

    (Face & Head Shave)

A new shave set up to start the weekend...

The design of the Supply V2 injector razor is wonderful and like the vintage Schick injectors is solidly built to hold the blade firm & rigid in the razor head with no movement making the shaving experience feel safe comfortable, and smooth with no blade chatter they are very easy to adjust to finding the right shaving angle....As i have mentioned before they are such comfortable smooth efficient shavers too especially for head shaving.

Carrying on with my revisiting DE blade focus with the Vidyut/Supermax Super Stainless which I haven't used for a while.

I had all intention of using my Merkur 37C for my face shave but changed my mind at the last minute and used the 39C instead....I still prefer using the 37C over the 39C, as I like the smaller handle. Both razors however are smooth shavers.
The Vidyuts/Super-Max SS for me have a good balanced of smoothness and sharpness they ain't the sharpest of blades i use but like all the other Subcontinent DE blades I have tried they have performed well with each razor i have paired them together with acceptable shaving results.

I will continue using the Vidyut/Supermax Super Stainless, Dorco Prime Platinum & the Gillette Wilkinson sword (Saloon Pack) for a good while as I have such a large amount of these blades to contend with and infrequently haven't gave them much use so I'll be using each blade for two shaves max then it gets binned regardless if I can get more shaves from them. A luxury i can afford to waste.

Another enjoyable close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups face and head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

2 cuts(0ne big, one small)ruined what was otherwise a lovely shave with Sir Hare. As usual, they developed at South Porcupine(chin). Shux. But the Hare may well hear from me again. Fresh and soft skin along the cheeks&sideburns. Well done at North Porcupine(directly over the upper lip). Same down at Cactus(neck). 2 passes. Stoylin Unscented A.S.to close. I'm very impressed with Sire Hare's website, which includes good writing about the ins and outs of wet shaving. As for my shave....Pretty Outstanding(obviously would have been higher without the cuts.)

    DE Shave # 461

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Ming Shi Futur Clone
    Blade: Shark Platinum
Brush: Leo Frilot Custom NYR 26 mm Synthetic
    Lather: Cella Crema da Barba
    Aftershave: Cella Milano
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

It has been a while since I used the Cella Crema da Barba. I was rewarded with a wonderful three pass shave. I decided to use the Ming Shi, as inspired by Barry, @palmolive fox, with his shave yesterday.

I will be laying low today as I continue to battle this annoying cold. I will rest up for the big game later this evening at MSG. No, I will not be attending as I can not justify spend about $400 per ticket. I would have to get two as I would not go with my son, Anthony.

Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

Very nice 39c shave Barry. I may bust out the 37c next week. The 39c resides in the Southern den.
