    Thanks Chris. Stirling Soaps is one of the best values in the States. This company provides 5.8 oz of shaving soap for 14.25 US dollars. They also make refill 4 oz pucks and 1 oz samples. Stirling is available in Europe via UK. If it ever becomes available in Australia, then I would suggest picking up a tub.

    Dreary and soon to be extremely wet day on LI but a sunny day in the Northern Den. This morning’s shave featured my custom Kamosori. I had this razor made by Andrey Shpakovskiy in the winter of 2022. Today’s shave was my 14th with the razor. Every time I have used it the shaves have been rewarding and progressively better. I received the SWMBO SOA. (As a side note, yesterday’s quick shave, a one pass, was easily commented upon by the missus this morning, “I am not use to seeing you this scruffy.”

    My customary three pass shave resulted in a near of a BBS as one could get without officially testing the results with the control ball test.

    Wonderful shave Chris. I am in agreement that the Arko can tend to be drying on the skin but nothing a quality balm can not rectify.
