  1. I find that my skin is much better now that I use the after-shave balms. Maybe the Witch Hazel helps too.:)

  2. Thank you Joe...I've seen the headblade, it looks ok. My injector razors are my go to head shaving razors. However the Gillette Guard is near equal to them. I still have quite a few cartridges/heads in my collection to use up which I have designated for my headshaving and will do so until I no longer have any left to do so.
Back to our new kings coronation. Enjoy your Saturday. Yours - Barry.

  9. Course with my bylaws if I desribed a shave as being simply "Outstading", it wouldn't be good. But I have a weird way like that. Thanks, Gary. :)

I originally was only going to do a face shave but since I had some leftover lather, then I decided to do a headshave, too. That's why you don't have the Rockwell 6C in the pic.
I have to say that this Lakewood Soap provides a slick, voluminous lather.

This was a piffed sample by Joe @JACarbone. Again, thank you my friend. The scent is difficult to describe because it was a test sample and there wasn't any ingredients listed on the package. I would say it is a mellow, masculine scent.

Did a 2 pass faceshave and the result was a close, comfortable and error-free shave..
I usually do a 3 pass dome shave, but I only had enough for 2 passes. That's alright because I wasn't looking for a cueball smooth result. I just shaved the dome to make it decent. Of course, it is difficult to nick yourself with the Rockwell 6C on level 4 and today's dome shave was no exception.
The alum feedback was miniscule on my neck, but everywhere else was nada. Splashed on the FA Platinum aftershave to finish this session. Take care amigos!

  13. Fabulous shave Joe. Lakewood is a fantastic soap. I will have to reach for a tub in the upcoming week. Perhaps the sample known as “Mr. Powell’s Honey Mash” for tomorrow’s sample shave.
