It's a dupe of Stoylin's Xecutive Man, which itself is a dupe of something(of which I forget).

Thanks Chris. Fine Accoutrements Platinum is a Creed Adventus dupe. Creed Adventus is a 300to 400 item that I have never tried and never will because of the price point. FA Platinum is a very light masculine scent to my nose with chronic sinusitis. @MrEE Evan's brushes are definitely aesthetically pleasing, and functional. Evan was a member, but unfortunately, he has just fallen off the face of the Earth without a trace. It's been about 2 years since he's posted.

Wonderful shave Chris! I see you have a GEM Brooklyn NY razor. It's got to be a good one. I am biased because my birthplace was Brooklyn NY.

This morning's shave ended up better than it began, thanks to the cold-water rinse. 1 cut, 1 Knick and 1 polka-dot, all happening at S. Porcupine(chin) with the cut being at the central border of Sl Porcupine and Cactus Nation(neck). Cheels&sideburns and N. Porcupine all were good. Nice softness from the West Texas soap(Hub City). I guess ALL Hub City soaps give you that. I'll find out for muhself when I order my next Hub City, which will be in the fall or winter. Anyway- 2 passes. I'll have a larger brush tomorrow-I hope I can avoid any cuts with that. Clubman Pinaud Special Reserve A.S., and Passion 4 Men cologne to finish. Kinda Outstanding.

Thanks Joe, somehow about 10 SE razors have found their way into my den! This is one them. It is in great nick. It weights in at 59.8 grams but because the handle is short it feels a lot heavier. I found it a bit aggressive for me at this stage, so went back to my Tried and Trusty R89 to finish off the shave.

It is nice to own some historical items, that were well made, and can still be used today.

Thanks Joe, just planning ahead for when my $10 aftershaves run out, but no way am I going to go anywhere near the 300 dollar mark! One can't really order this stuff online. (a) overseas vendors don't like to ship bottled liquids. (b) unless you have tried it you don't know if you will like it. Got to be careful because my sense of smell is not that good either (I blame an old head injury and chronic hayfever), my wife's on the other hand is super sharp! Might want to get her input too!
I see many other TSD members use MrEEs I guess they were popular at some stage.

I can't justify spending colognes that are in that price range because they are consumable items. My 2 custom razors are way above that price point, but I justify those purchases because I will always have them and they are one of a kind pieces. Also, those shaving cleavers are a good conversational piece.

SE Shave # 331 - MICROMATIC DECLARATION GROOMING MONDAY

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Gem Feather
    Blade: GEM Stainless
Brush: Whipped Dog Butterscotch 24 mm
    Lather: Declaration Grooming Original
    Aftershave: Declaration Grooming Original
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

While it is technically Micromatic Monday I decided to give the GEM Feather SE an outing on this mornings whiskers. I have not used this razor in a while. It delivered a smooth and comfortable shave.

The Declaration Grooming Original soap and splash is a very nice scent. The scent profile is as follows: “Original is a blend of sandalwood and bergamot.”

Hope you are all enjoying your day.
