I haven't used this razor in months so it got the call today. It is Dovo's bottom tier model, but it is a fine shaver. I picked Intrepid Man because it's my last sample of the original 5 that I bought and the scent is basically gone so I can pair it with any aftershave. Here's my lather:



I only needed 2 passes to get a nice, close and comfortable shave without incidents. The alum sang a bit, but it was tolerable. Splashed on the Proraso Green aftershave and I am good to go. Take care.

Prep: Warm shower:/Dove Men+Care Clean Comfort Body + Face Wash.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Original Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 10066.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Proraso Sensitive shaving cream.
Blade : Dorco Prime Platinum. (D1)
Razor: Parker 94R.

Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. / Benjamin's mentholated bay rum. /L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

Early morning Shave,

A great inexpensive shave set up. The hefty 94R mowed through my stubble effortlessly paired together with the fresh Dorco Prime Platinum making my early morning shave a pleasurable experience.
The Omega boar brush gets better with each outing whipping up a wonderful lather in a short space of time.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick-ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

Very nice setup and shave Barry. Omega brushes perform way beyond their price point. My Omega Pro 49 is my best purchase dollar for dollar. Omega brushes are great for those entering traditional wetshaving. Enjoy your afternoon.

Much better shave this morning. The brush picked up LOTS of soap, ready for the paint-job. Solid coverage all around. No negative issues but for the fact that I went a little too hard over the cut from the other day-more came out, but it was neutralized by the aftershave. No "new" Cuts, Knicks, Pokka-dots. 2 passes. Said aftershave was once again the Clubman Special Reserve. The cologne was playing tricks on me-you push the button and very little if anything comes out(and I have more than "very little"). Super Duper Outstanding.

Thank you Joe. You are totally correct about omega boar brushes. The 10066 & 11137 that I purchased last year and both haved improved with each outing. I have 2 Omega 49 Pro brushes & a 48 which are all firm favourites of mine.
