48 hours pre-work shave: Usual prep with Proraso Green.

Eversharp Hydromagic with Personna Injector blade (3)
    Brush: Rasorock Plisoft synthetic.
Croap: T & H Sandalwood whipped up in a bowl.

Two passes with some minor touch ups right side of neck.

Feeling more confident with this razor, I feel that I can use more pressure than with my Micromatics. Feels just as safe as the R89 but much more efficient. More manoeuvrable than the Micromatics.

Fine pre-work shave with one slip up. Feeling too cocky and going too fast: Whoops, went sideways between strokes just below lower lip, slice and diced, this is sharp, that’ll teach ‘ya! Bleeding slightly, taken care of with the Proraso repair gel. Because of the nick I left things as they were till next time.

Post: Warm and Cold water rinse. Alum was friendly. Thayers. Cerave Facial Lotion. Brut AS and Who Is Elijah scent. Super start to the day, just a bit miffed about the slicing and dicing.

Will aim to do better next time.

This could become a favourite razor of mine.

Lather was good, but could be better.

It is why I nicknamed my 10/8 Max (Max Sprecher) and my 13/8 Artie (Art Razor 1000), The Sons of Thunder. Lol!

Nice setup and shave Chris. In my experience, blood letting usually happens when I am shaving on autopilot, regardless of my razor choice. It's great being on autopilot, but I have to remember that I still need to remain focused, especially when I use a straight or a shavette. I think it's just a mindset of being so comfortable because I have shaved my face many times with an open blade razor that I am not going to get cut. That's when the I gotcha moment rears it's ugly head. Thankfully, it's rare. Believe it or not, I am more prone to cut myself with a safety razor. Go figure. Lol!

This morning, I called a change of shave at the sink of scrimmage. I went with:

    prep-Dial 4 Men Bodywash(in shower)
    shave-Stoylin Sheep(Unscented)
    brush-Stoylin 26mm. "Pro-Handle"
    razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DisposeABLE
    A.S.-Mennen Skin Bracer

Fine shave in most areas. South Porcupine Alley(chin)and North Cactus Nation(north area of neck)require special attention in future shave as I added more redness to the cut from the other day. Could have done better at Ingrown Swamp(NW Cactus). 2 passes. No Knicks, Polka-dots. we have a nice warm spell, which explains the Skin Bracer A.S. Not quite ready for Osage,(and the Stoylin glacials), but those will get a lot uf use this summer. Most Outstanding.

I'm set for a new cologne(spray)...maybe I just need to shake them more, but they're getting harder to apply. Is an EDP a spray or the kind you apply with a dipstick?

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Thistle 5/8”
Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket 26 mm
Lather: PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum
Aftershave: PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Another day where the lather was overflowing the bowl. A small almond size scoop of the soap with slightly more than dampened synthetic brush and eureka lather explosion.

The Thistle straight took care of this morning’s growth with ease. The post shave alum report was nonexistent. The PAA aftershave has my face smelling good and shall continue to r ceive whiffs of the scent throughout the day.

I have spend sometime tending to the yard and enjoying this beautiful weather we are having on LI. What day you Joe, @Trigger?

Very nice injector shave Chris. That was smart of you to know when to decide to live the fight for another day.

Yaqi Sentinel 1.5mm stainless steel head.
Homelike Shaving Voevoda stainless steel handle.
    Rapira Platinum Lux blade (fresh).
    Simpson T3 Trafalgar synthetic brush.
Fine Accoutrements L'Orange Noir shave soap.
    Timeless Razor shave bowl.
    Cremo Bourbon and Oak EdT.

Awesome three pass shave this morning. The Sentinel head still impresses me and is most definitely one of the top razor heads in the den.....smooth and very efficient. It does not shave like a 1.5mm gap razor.

    Happy humpday everyone!
