Monday, May 8 AoS Lavender~~Zenith~~Gillette New LC/Platinum~~Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua Day Fourteen. The ring is ever-expanding. The Zenith is ever-softening. The shave was ever-pleasing. The stank was ever-stanky. Late, but great shave.
Day 23 The focus continues to roll along. I’ve realized that of my 4 Omega boars, this one is my favourite. Not even many dark hairs, @Primotenore .
Tuesday, May 9 AoS Lavender~~Zenith B507~~Gillette RFB/Platinum~~Amouage Gold Day Fifteen. After this shave, I am transferring the soap to my Aesop SS Bowl. Pretty good shave with a blade that was past its prime. Outstanding Civet-Stank.
May 9, 2023 Feather AS-D2 Feather PAA Shaverite 210 with Mix Knot MdC Fougère Speick After Shave I am a day late on posting since I got caught up in putting out work fires. I decided to change the Mondial boar with the Shaverite 210. I will keep this setup for my regular Tuesday & Thursday lineup.
May 10, 2023 Tatara Masumne Simpson CH2 Synthetic Feather MdC Fougère Speick After Shave Back on track for posting today. It feels like it should be Friday already when it's only Wednesday. I am making very good progress on the MdC with my usage rate averaging 2 grams per day. The Speick after shave is very close to being done and dusted so I can move back to Agua Balsamica.
Wednesday, May 10 AoS Lavender~~Zenith B507~~Cooper MonoBilt/Gillette Platinum~~Creed Aventus Day Sixteen. As you can see, the plastic tub is gone and the remainder resides firmly packed at the bottom of my Aesop SS bowl. Lathering is a snap from this vessel and the B507 did not disappoint. It should be known that the Cooper should be classified as an "aggressive" razor. Mucho blade feel demands a light touch at the correct angle. Aventus for the finish garnered an unsolicited SWMBOSOA. If the choices are ‘aggressive’ or ‘not aggressive’, then sure, yes. I find it quite easy to shave with, fwiw. Way less attention necessary than say a Floating Head.
Day 25 I think I’m getting close to at least a good guess as to the number of shaves left. 12-15 ish…

May 12, 2023 Tatara Masumne Paladin Feather MdC Fougère Speick After Shave Happy Friday Everyone!!! This work week is just about over. I will likely have to work over the weekend but that should not be too bad. The MdC continues to go down at roughly 2 grams a day. If that usage rate continues then this one should be done and dusted within 50-55 shaves. Have a great day guys.
I hope you don’t have to work all weekend, Clint. Great work on the soap as well. As always, I am mesmerized by that stunning Paladin beehive. The combination of the pour and the shape is exceptional.
