    24 hours
Prep = Usual Preshave with Proraso Green mild menthol.

Soap = Stirling Executive man, time to try this out, I have had it for a few months now: Bowl Lathering: is this the best way for Stoylin?
Brush = Old Vulfix Pure badger 24 mm knot
Razor = Razorock Lupo (2nd hand purchase)
    Blade = Gillette 7 o’clock Super Stainless (2)
3 Passes with touch ups. Getting the hang of ATG top lip area. Still missing out on the lower neck and Adam’s apple, it will come eventually.

Post: Warm water rinse, cold water rinse, alum was silent, Thayers, Old spice aftershave followed by Jo Malone Orange Bitters Cologne.

    Nice enough shave.
A bit disappointed with the scent of the Stirling Executive soap, maybe my sense of smell is a bit duff.
It was smooth enough, but not as good as the MWF, mind you I have used the MWF more times than the Stirling.

The all-aluminium Razorock lupo felt a bit light compared to my Vintage Gillette razors. Smooth enough, but not heavy enough for good traction on the beardage. It needed more strokes per pass than I would care for, but overall workable enough. It felt safe enough and no damage was done, so that is a plus.

    Overall score 8/10.

    SRS # 882

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Wade & Butcher 5/8 French Point
Brush: Simpson Trafalgar T2 Sovereign Synthetic
    Lather: PAA Malbolge
    Aftershave: PAA Malbolge
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

    Absolutely highly productive morning.
    6:30 - 7:00 - X3 Bar Pull Workout
7:10 - 8:10 - 4 + mile walk through the backroads of Miller Place, Sound Beach and Rocky Point.

I topped all this activity with one phenomenal shave. The Simpson synthetic whipped up a very nice PAA lather. Three passes without incident resulted in a super smooth face. The missus will be happy.

Now I am off to do some errand in the western part of Suffolk County. Hope you all have a great day.

Back when I was first experimenting with Stoylin(seeme like ages ago), I ordered four A.S. samples. Here is the order of my preferences of them:

    1-Sandpiper
    2Mtn. Man
    3. Sharp Dressed Man
    4. Xecutive Man.

The Sandpiper was the winner(that is, the one of which I later ordered the full size). So many positive reviews for Xecutive Man, but I couldn't quite pick up on it, I wll say Sandpiper did jump out at me for #1.

My first go with the Dove bodywash. This one is special-it had the E word in its description: Exfoliating. Set me up real nice for the ensuing shave. Course the soap was a helper in that persuasion, too(a repeat of Bill Neumann's Heartwood). Great work all over. An improvement just north of the ingrown hairs at Cactus, which was a goal of mine, as stated yesterday. I did miss again where I tend to miss(right side jawline area), but had the presence of mind to correct that miss later. The Neumann A.S. addded to the softness&cleanliness I was already feeling. Passion 4 Men to close out. I'm in the market for another cologne soon. Super Duper Outstanding.

Terrific shave Chris! I am a fan of Stirling and I find most of the scents are very good. However, I agree with you that Executive Man was pretty meh to my nose also. For that matter, I wasn't impressed with Triumlh and Intrepid Man as well. As far lathering Stirling, I have never had an issue with face or bowl lathering. I prefer face lathering because I don't have an extra step of cleaning and drying out the bowl. However, bowl lathers have a creamier texture and you just have to paint it on with very little scrubbing. This is why people with sensitive skin usually bowl lather.
