66 Black Beauty

 

unfortunately that's not a "black beauty"this is.

 

I know that you're right, and I guess I could have said 66 Super Speed black handle but. Hey Gary, spring of 1968 I had a brand spanking new Black Beauty even though they weren't supposed to be out. In Vietnam we may have gotten things before they were released to the public. Who knows? We used to buy French Champagne for $3.50 also.

In Vietnam I owned both the 84 and the 109. I actually like the 84 better for the balance. Darn and it's not allowing me to post these.

 

i get that Mac.wasn't trying to be a "this is what is is " type guy.i am a nobody here but i try to teach gillette stuff based on what i have learned here.

 

Gary, I look up to you and what I do know is because of your sharing your knowledge of Gillette. My hat is off to you.

p.s. And besides, you're the one with that classy hybrid tech among others.
