    The D01 brush hair really is on a whole different level than other brush hair. It's not for everyone. It's pretty much only for people who want boar backbone in a badger brush format.

    ...and yes, I've tried the SHD brushes. It's not the same thing.

    We'll just have to agree to disagree on that point.

    IMO, when Vulfix merged with Simpson's, they dragged Simpson's down to their level, not raised Vulfix to their level. And I've rarely read any complaints about Shavemac's quality, typical German OCD in quality manufacturing being what it is.

    Taste in brushes is such a personal and subjective thing, though, I'm not sure it's worth arguing over.

    I absolutely agree, and I do need to grab another. I hope Rudy is still available to turn the handle and assemble the unit.

    All of my Simpsons have been of top-notch quality. I've never noticed a decrease in quality at all.
