You have been generating some gorgeous lather lately.

I find that I get in a hurry and short change myself. I'll try in morning and spend more time with the bowl.

    Take care.

Thanks for the kind words Danny. It does take a little more time, but the quality of the lather is worth it.

    Greetings,

    Early morning Shave,

A relaxing early morning cold water face & head shave...

I've went for a menthol themed shave today the Proraso gave cooling kick for both my face & head sensors.

The Gillette Guard on it's 5th and final outing still performed well feeling smooth & efficient enough resulting in another smooth acceptable head shave.

A enjoyable early comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

My face & head are feeling cool & smooth. ;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Thank you John. I have the DG/CL La Foret de Liguest. You are correct as it is in the Fougere category. I enjoy all of the DG and DG/CL collaborations I have in my den. Of course a few are currently no longer being produced by the artisan.

Wonderful shave Chris. I have a sample pick of the Lemon Chill which I have yet to open. Perhaps this summer.

Well, if ever there was a rubber stamp titled "Same shave result as yesterday"I'd stamp this post space with it. Course the fact is, I can't anyway, as I used a different

    Brush-Jayaruh #59.

Other than the different brush, I don't have much to add from yesterday, except I'm rotating "grain" directions now at each area during the second pass. Another Very Outstanding shave.

Thanks Joe, it's quite mild but very enjoyable. I will do the same set up again tomorrow aiming for Lather Master like lather!

Hi @Trigger, thanks for the lesson. I must be a bit on the slow side today though: could you please clarify this for me: Are you saying you repeat the brush loading 5 times from the puck before going to the bowl?

    1. Swirl 60 -80 times on the puck right?
    2. Then swirl 60 -80 more times: still on the puck or in the bowl at this stage?
    3. Then swirl 60 -80 more times: still on the puck or in the bowl?
    4. Then swirl 60 -80 more times: still on the puck or in the bowl?
5 Then swirl 60 -80 more times: still on the puck or in the bowl?

Don't give away too many of your secrets sensei (!) but I am interested in how you get that lovely Cool Whip consistency. I think good lather is crucial to a good shave.

Either way it's quite an arm workout esp. if you have some shoulder issues.
