Sunday morning walk prior to my shave

28 hours beard growth

Prep: my usual face prep with Bar Hair Conditioner

Gillette Rocket HD with Feather Day 2
The Feather felt smoother on Day 2, it could become a strategy to use this in the Rockets on Day 1 and then in a different razor on the 2nd day
Timeless bowl + Stirling British leather + Omega 10049
½ scoop of soap into the bowl, just enough lather, next time I will stick with a full scoop, better to have more than less
I pressed this into the centre of the bowl, this stopped it getting caught up in the ridges on the side

3 passes and touch ups no damage = very pleasant shave: 9/10

Post: warm and cold water rinse, Alum, Thayers’, Brut ASL, Proraso AS balm, Jo Malone Cologne

I suspect that you guys share some Lathering Secrets at your meet-ups!

Unfortunately, there aren't enough wetshavers to support all these companies. Angora Soaps made my favorite lavender scent, but it closed shop the beginning of this year. I did buy another puck and aftershave. It will be a sad day when I run out of it. Stirling has been around for 11 years and I hope they will be around for another 11.

At our meetups, we talk about everything. We do share our thoughts on different shave techniques. Joe thinks that I do to much brush swirling. However, the thing about wetshaving is that once you have the fundamentals down, then it really is up to you to personalize your technique based on what razors, blades, and soap that you use. Every piece of hardware and software has its own quirks and the fun is to learn how to use them effortlessly. You have improved tremendously since you joined this thread and you will continue to do so just like the rest of us did.

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Cella Extra Extra Bio Organic Aloe Vera Shaving Cream.
Blade: Silver Star Super Stainless. (D2)
Razor: 1950's Gillette Ball End Tech. (US) -

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Cella Bio Organic Aloe Vera ASL./ Aloe Vera Gel.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

Everything in my shave set up this morning worked together wonderfully...The Cella bio Aloe Vera shaving cream provided me with a protective slick lather in no time leaving a superb post shave feel.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups close shave with no errors to report....Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
