Wow, sorry to hear about the water, Clint. Hope not much was damaged.

The carpet is dry now. I still have the industrial fan and dehumidifier running.

More bad news. I think the downstairs AC is out as well. At least interior fan is not working. Just damn. If I thought about it too much I would cry. :angry032: I am thinking a bourbon might help and certainly would not hurt.

    New 3017
After a week of playing with some triple milled soaps, I’ve decided on my next Titanic focus.

Tomorrow, I’ll be using the PAA Et Tu soap. I’ll pair it with Brut, the Et Tu splash, Maol Heliopteris and/or whatever Fougere (or not) I decide to.

There will be a few lake shaves here and there and I won’t take this tub out there, so it may be a little less religious than my usual focuses. Whenever I’m home, this soap will be used.

Looking forward to jumping back in.

Love Brut. Never tried the PAA. You will stank good for this 3017.

Sorry to hear about the water heater and A/C, Clint. Hopefully you got all the bad stuff of summer out the way this weekend. :)

I completed shave # 52 using the Stirling Arkadia soap yesterday, and I've got a long way to go. I'm using an R41 head attached to a heavy Mongoose "Bomber" SS handle paired with one of @jtspartan's wonderfully crafted brushes. Shaves have been great.

I decided to stock up on tallow MWF while I had the chance, so I've got a few pucks from Kent arriving this week. Combined with my Tabac stash, I am stocked up for years to come.

@clint64 inspired me to get back on the weight and exercise wagon. I'm down 11 lbs and should reach my target this fall. I already feel better. This battle overshadows such things as glue dots on DE blades, upside down black boar shaving brush hairs, and soap granules.

I hope you guys are well. I enjoy following along on everyone's 3017 exploits.

Congrats on the weight loss Charlie. You helped motivate me to loose weight. Now I just need to maintain it.

    AoS Lemon~~Zenith~~Gem Clog-Pruf/Gem
    Day Nine
There's a decent amount of product remaining, but I have made a large dent.
The Gem blade was sufficient, but it got binned after the shave.
My stank---not pictured, was some vintage Eau Sauvage.

    Day 1
Lots of soap left, but it certainly isn't a hard soap by any means. I'm certain that it will be a quicker focus than the last few.

In the future...after many more 3017s and when our supplies of shaving soap are gone...this could likely be the group photo.

Thankfully, @Primotenore will be as sassy as ever, insisting on his own photo. I expect his natural stank will suffice at that time.

That's all I have to say about that.

    Day 2
I’m in Brut overload. This soap is a quality product, a very nice base indeed. The splash is super as well. I’ll be at this awhile as there is no donut hole yet.
I bought this Floating Head from @Keithmax several years ago and it became an insta-favourite.
