Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Palmolive Classic Shave Cream.
Blade:1950's Gillette Ball End Tech. (US) - Silver Star Super Stainless. (D1)
Razor: Baili BD 191. (Head/Dome) - Silver Star Super Stainless. (D2)

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Brut Attraction Totale ASL./ Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Early morning Shave,

The dependable Palmolive classic shave cream is such a wonderful performer which creates a rich protective lather with only a small amount giving a great lasting classic fragrance throughout the shave, leaving a good post shave feel.

A enjoyable early comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Similar to yesterday with one minor change: the razor

Prep: Usual incl. Proraso white
Gillette Tech aluminium + Gillette 7 o’clock Green (2)
Timeless Bowl + Omega 10049 + Stirling Orange Chill
Full scoop of soap into the bottom of the bowl followed by ~ 3 - 4 minutes of brush work = once again a nice thick and slick lather
3 passes were needed as usual + touch ups

No damage

Post shave : Warm and Cold water rinse + Thayers + Brut ASL + Proraso AS balm + Jo Malone Cologne
Super smooth, ready for the day’s adventures

Thoughts: I think that, even on day 2 of this blade, the Tech is a bit more efficient than the Aristocrat. Lighter and more manoeuvrable. A little more care was needed with this Tech, despite the light weight.

first try at a new soap,
very nice,pine scent.very subtle
smooth 2 passer with the crat/blue diamond combo.
they are ok on the 2nd shave.
i think i'm done trying out different blades.
kcg and blue box platinum seem to give the best shaves for me as modern blades go.

It's a no shave day for me. However, I have my setup laid out for tomorrow's shave. I will be using my Parker shavette with a Wilkinson Sword 1/2 DE Blade and Cella soap. Pinaud-Clubman Classic aftershave will be my postshave treatment.

 

Had to add a Guinness pint glass to my “man cave”
Granted I don’t have a keg and tap here personally unless I go out to a pub, but canned Guinness is the closest thing I can have to a pub experience. Goes great with a big comfort meal. Anyway going off topic. Finally burned through one puck of old spice finally. Loving the black beauty.

For a man reaching 68 yrs this Friday, I can't complain. I am very healthy thanks to God. I am in the gym 7 days a week. Today was my 1/2 hour of rowing. Tomorrow will be 3 chest and 3 back resistance exercises with free weights and machines. The next day is arms, legs and shoulders. I repeat this 3 day program repeatedly.
