    Perfect Hump Day shave. I have been very productive this morning completing both an X3 Bar Push workout and a 45 minute walk around the neighborhood.

    I was treated to an extremely close and comfortable shave by the F A Clauberg straight. The lather, picture does not do it justice, was voluminous and slick. I pressed a one gram piece of soap into my lather bowl. Within a minute I had sufficient lather with the correct consistency to do a three pass shave. However, I whipped it up for approximately another minute with the addition of a few drops of water and presto -

    After my three passes I still had enough lather to do a two pass head shave if I elected to do so. Instead, the drain enjoyed the lather.

    I think Joe, @Trigger, is going to be impressed with the sample of this soap. Given the amount of soap, approximately 3 scoops weighing in at about 1.5 grams, Joe should have not problem getting 6 shaves from this soap. I would even suggest that if he divided the scoops into 3 pieces each he would get close to nine shaves with his dependable 5 minute bowl lathering technique. We will find out soon enough.

    usual smooth 2 passer with the 'crat/kcg combo,
    my favorite tto at present.this and the #58
    just fabulously smooth and close shaves.

    24 hours. Pre-work shave
    Same set up as Yesterday but with a different blade

    Razor: Aluminium Tech
    Blade: Gillette dark blue Platinum (1) I had a few tucks of these to try
    Soap: Stirling Orange Chill, 1 scoop into Timeless bowl, nice thick lather with the Omega 49’er
    Successful 3 passes and a few touch ups

    This razor/blade combo is well suited to my skin/beard. Seems smoother but equally efficient compared to other blades, no hint of damage. Early days yet, and I have yet to try this in a different razor but very glad I bought a sample of these. I have more on the way

    Post: Usual rinses, Thayers, Brut ASL, Proraso AS Balm
    Scent: reaching the end of my Jo Malone Orange Bitter Cologne.

    A rather satisfying mid-week pre work shave

    I thought that I would go barbershop theme for today's shave. In the States, a shavette is known as a barber's straight razor. Of course, Cella and the PC aftershave is the ultimate in barbershop scents imo.
    Cella has always performed well because it is very slick.
    made more than enough lather for my usual 2 passes so I decided to do a 3rd pass just for giggles.

    Got a very nice shave without any red liquid surfacing on my skin. The alum gave some feedback, but it was more soothing than stinging. Applied the PC aftershave and I am good to go. Take care.
