Not too much to say - this shave was such a frigid pleasure. The Glacial Electric Sheep has that same lovely lemony/citronella/eucalyptus scent as the regular version except that this one has such powerful menthol fumes that hit you in the face, the mutton tallow formula promotes such magnificent lather that’s so rich, super slick as well as protective, there’s enough menthol in it to freeze a polar bear’s charms off, and it’s got perfect skincare. Rod really created a treasure with this one and it’s a must have for me at all times. The Prep is another treasure from South Africa - it’s my favourite balm because it’s not only soothing and moisturizing, it’s has a nice menthol sensation, and it smells exactly like the old Noxzema cream. The Snake Bite aftershave has no discernible scent but at least it smells clean, and it feels like liquid nitrogen on your skin - that’s how cold it is. Three glorious passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

Williams Wednesday's Cold Water Shave

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the SlimGem Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Mercur Progress Razor and a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

If you like herbal scented soaps you will not get anything that gives a nice scent and slightly masculine IMO. On my second tub of TOBS Sandal wood and enjoying it very much. Cyril S Salter (Herbal) Indian Sandalwood is another good one but maybe not as strong in scent IMO but very similar and very enjoyable also. I could not buy CRS at the time I ran out because they where sold out, I would of just of stayed using it. Both creams are superior in performance than other Sandal wood soaps I have used. The Herbal part makes my shave I figure.

Razor : Razorock 2nd generation Lupo.72- Mfg 2021>, mid range, excellent machining and finish QC. One of my best DE razors for shaving under the nose area. I try to get this razor in my regular weekly rotation if possible because I have a large rotation of razors. The Perma-sharp blade works well with this razor also IMO. Had a stellar shave this morning with no issues.
Blade : Gillette Perma- sharp(3) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Top tier blade IMO.
Soap : Speick stick, nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Ferrari" 24mm boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristles, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. For a rare bleached boar Yaqi ever made it seems to work well, for a damaged knot it turned out very well IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent stellar shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Perma sharp blade.

Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.

Face Lather.
Lather: Boots Original Shave Stick.
Blade: Silver Star Super Stainless. (D2)
Razor: 1950's Gillette Ball End Tech. (US)

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Boots Freshwood ASL + ASB.

Early morning shave,

Another shave where everything worked together wonderfully....As always the inexpensive Boots Trio was a joy to use making my early morning shave a pleasurable experience. A great shave to finish my shaving week off in style.
A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Freshwood ASB.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Another case of the freezies this morning - my brother Fernando’s Citrus Melody soap and aftershave are both absolutely AMAZING. Lemon, lime, grapefruit, and a bit of tangerine all come together to produce a delicious, refreshing scent, the soap’s tallow formula promotes such magnificent lather that has such slickness, there’s a POWERFUL menthol sensation, and you can’t get better skincare. The Prep and the Citrus Melody aftershave added tons of extra soothing as well as a HUMUNGOUS menthol kick. Finally, the gorgeous Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m good to go. Three passes gave me such a wonderful BBS shave that was so easy peasy and enjoyable!
