Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 11137.
Face Lather.
Lather: Boots Original Shave Stick.
Blade: Silver Star Super Stainless. (D2)
Razor: 1950's Gillette Ball End Tech. (US)

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Boots Freshwood ASL + ASB.

Another shave where everything worked together wonderfully....As always the inexpensive Boots Trio was a joy to use making my early morning shave a pleasurable experience. A great shave to finish my shaving week off in style.
A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Freshwood ASB.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

I have another Tech that I tried earlier and thought that's weird it feels more aggressive. How can that be? I might come back to that one later. Both are the lightweight versions.

But Torbin hints that some of them do have different blade gaps. Haven't finished watching this, he lost me part of the way.

I guess if Gillette made different types of Techs in different countries over a number of years, then eventually there would be all sorts of hybrids around too, as caps and baseplates get damaged and swapped around. I was thinking of looking for a fat handle Tech at some stage, but looking online the "gold" ones have tarnished caps and baseplates and look rather average, so I will just stick with I have. It sure works well!.

Just the Basics June

Wilkinson shave stick + face lathering
Puro Tasso Boar

Proraso Prep and Balm

Thought I felt a nick left upper lip, but no, nothing.

Finished my Orange Bitter Cologne
Superb product but Oh The agony of finishing just a small sample!

Lovely lather from this stick, one could stick with this as a daily shave setup e.g. while travelling.

2nd and 3rd passes were progressively slicker

Despite the success with the Timeless bowl, face lathering works just as well, takes less time and clean up time is a bit shorter
