Thanks Gary. OK, but I still find the whole Gillette thing confusing. I guess the biggest variations are in the handles, and the boxes/set they come in and there is less variation in the heads, would that be an oversimplification?
Sounds to me like Mr K Gillette was good at marketing and staying ahead of the competition. One day I will have the time to look into the history of this all.
Either way, the few Gillette razors that I do have suit my face well, and always perform well, which would mean he got things right and why there are so many out there.

Great shave and post Chris! I rinse my face between passes and never have had a problem with thinning lather. The lather naturally thins because I am using up more soap as my shave progresses. I still add water to the loaded brush despite having a wet face and find that the lather is still creamy. Is it voluminous? Not really, but the lather is super slick and that's what I aim for while shaving. Santa Claus beards look nice, but they aren't necessary. I believe a good lather is one that gives you a great shave regardless of its thickness. Have a great evening!

Am I mistaken or does that look a bit like Matt himself?

Wonderful Throwback Thursday shave. I think the Razorock soap(Tuscan Oud)gets the MVP. Great setup for the AgadirMen A.S. Course the Agadir bodywash(Sport)was a nice setup for the T.O. soap. For the shave itself, I might have had a top-grade performance, but one glitch got in the way. That was a Knick at the left side of my mouth, Right at the border between North and South Porcupine Alley. Nice job elsewhere. 2 passes. Super Duper Outstanding.

2 passes is good going, I rarely get that.

I'll have to admit, more times than not I do have enough for 3.

    1. Comment came belatedly, I am a bit slow on the mobile!
    2. I always make sure I have enough lather for 3 or more passes but rarely succeed in getting a good shave in just 2 passes, 2 passes is good going in my book.

I suppose I could do a third, but I end up thinking "Aaaaahh, this is enough(at 2).

    SRS # 908 - Gemini Shave - C-MON - LF ECWS Ghost Trails - PAA King R. Emporium - Aqua Velva (Spanish)

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: C-Mon Special 6/8”
Brush: Leo Frilot ECWS 2018 Ghost Trails
    Lather: PAA King R. Emporium
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva (Spanish)
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

My final shave with this PAA soap as I have PIF’d to Joe, @Trigger, as he was the winner of my contest to identify which razor would get the honors for my 900th straight razor. The correct answer to the question was my Theirs-Issard Super Gnome. Enjoy the soap even if you are not a big fan of the PAA.

I had another superb three pass shave with this software and hardware combination. The soap easily whipped up into a luxurious lather with the assistance of a custom made brush by Leo Frilot and the C-MON did the rest.

Another dreary day here on LI with the weather feeling more like early fall with rain in the forecast.

I hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
