    Good afternoon.
    Gillette Heritage Razor
Gillette Platinum DE Blade (7, 8)
    Hembree/Maggard Timberwolf Synthetic Brush
Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 23.5 hrs
    Dome Turf: 23.5 hrs.

I just like this razor. For a mild razor, it does a great job. I went for Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender because I want to use this puck up so that I can use my other one. This puck is almost gone and I should be bereft of it next month. Here's today's lather:

    20230628_161739.jpg

I got carried away making the lather. Lol! That's OK because I did a headshave, too! I usually don't do a consecutive headshave, let alone a consecutive head and face shave, but I guess my rules can be broken. Who says old men can't be flexible? Lol!
Anyway, 3 passes for the face and 2.5 passes on the dome gave me BBS without incidents. The alum feedback was mostly on my nape, but it wasn't earth shattering. Generously splashed on the matching aftershave to finish this nice shave. Take care.

    Greetings,

    Later than normal morning shave,

It's been a while since I last used the Lea Classic cream and forgot how much of i like the light fresh sandalwood scent with a nice mild menthol kick feels cooling which is perfect for the warmer months of the year.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Cucumber Moisturising Lotion.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

    SRS # 915 - French Themed Shave #5

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Thiers-Issard Super Gnome Extra
    Brush: Ever Ready 200T
Lather: Pre de Provence No. 63
Aftershave: Pre de Provence No. 63 Aftershave Balm
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
Pre de Provence No. 63 EdT

Final day in France as we head to the Mediterranean island of Malta. The theme of the shave will change to one representing the citrus of the region (Stirling Piacenza).

Another close and comfortable three pass shave without incident. The face lathering process seems to have resolved the issues with the water I had with my initial shaves of this trip.

    Enjoy your day gentlemen.

  12. Thanks Joe, don't want any old boring shave, got to mix it up a little.

    Merci, Monsieur,
    Thanks Gary

I can feel the chill of the Cucumber lotion from here!

Come Joe, don't be coy, just one little souvenir, hope we shall all see! What fun: shave shopping overseas. Don't let it spoil the holiday!

(2019 I was in Rome looking for a Barber for a haircut and stumbled into a similar outlet at the top of Via Nazionale. I thought to myself what IS all this Stuff and What on Earth is it all for and Who on Earth uses this Stuff! If only I knew then what I know now! Lol! They didn't do haircuts though.)

    Extra luggage, anyone? (giggle)

  17. A real nice Throwback Thursday shave this moring, dedicated to Jeff, The Isreaeli Ambassador to TSD, for its coldness. The Stoylin Glacial felt GOOOD on my face and neck. I may be Edmunding it before summer's out but I'll be sure to get another Glacial. 2 passes. Zero across the board with Cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. Better than yesterday's nasty cut at S. Porcupine. Very good down at Cactus Nation. Skin Bracer added to the chill, but not as cold as thr Stoylin Glacial. Passion 4 Men cologne to close. As Outstanding As It Gets.
  18. Thanks Joe, have a lovely Thursday
