    Thanks Chris. CF Cryogen is definitely an experience. The Menthol concentration is so high that it may cause tearing in the eyes. I am fortunate that it doesn't affect me that way.

    I believe I will try Just One July. Of course, since I generally shave only once or twice a week, that isn't putting much of a strain on me .

    Oh, and since I am late as usual: Happy 4th of July! (My Canada Day on July 1 was pretty decent.)

    Tuesday July 4 - Just One July

    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: Supply 2.0 matte black stainless injector with SE comb plate / Supply Black Label (11 or 12)
    Brush: Simpson's Chubby 2 synthetic
    Soap: TOBS Lavender Shave Cream (croap)
    Post: rinse, alum, rinse, Lucky Tiger Face Tonic, Clubman Osage Rub

    My last reported shave was June 19, but I had one or possibly two since then that I didn't bother recording or discussing here in the Shave School -- I am not sure why. Doubtless I had some feeble excuse at the time. That's why I am unsure exactly how many times I have used the blade now.

    Today's shave was straightforward. The razor, blade, brush and shave cream are all very familiar to me by now, and there were no surprises.

    One pass sufficed to give me a DFS. Alum was silent. I finished with the Lucky Tiger face tonic, then added a wake-up splash of Osage Rub on top of that. That made it Menthol Tuesday since I didn't shave on Monday...

    Hi Gary. I have a friend who has his grandfather's razors. His grandfather was born in 1888. I am assuming it has to be anywhere from 1930 to 1948. Can you tell me what this razor is and date it. I know the pix are not great. There isn't an alpha-numeric code, but it was made in the USA.

    thats a 1958 -66 is flare tip.it does have a date code though not readable in the pic.it is 1958 or newer because the crease is close to the twist knob.on 1954-7 models the crimp is higher up the handle.
