Today was an early morning shave with an evening post. Swati and I went to visit my Mom today and take her out for a birthday lunch. I just finished having burgers from the grill. I really couldn't ask for a better day.
First, a Happy 4th of July to all my American friends! I agree with @Primotenore Joseph, my Culmak brush has some the finest hair of all my brushes. I just wish I could find a bigger one. Finally a hole is showing up in the QCS. Wade and Butcher for the win.

I am down to around 10 grams of soap which should be done and dusted in the next 5-6 shaves. I have really enjoyed this run with MdC. I am biased but MdC is one of my favorite soaps. Wednesday, July 5 AoS Rose Absolute~~Simpson Tulip 3~~2011 Mühle R41/Wilkinson Chromium~~"Made in Bermuda" vintage Royall Mandarin Day Twelve. Brought out the monster T3 to work on this "cream" (now a semi-firm soap). I keep asking if ANYONE has ever seen a Tulip 3 with a 29mm Two-Band knot? All T3's on Simpson Website are 22mm. So far, I suspect this was a special order and has found its way into my den. The Royall is such a refreshing stank. Wish it lasted longer...

July 6, 2023 Feather AS-D2 Feather PAA Shaverite 210 with Mix Knot MdC Fougère Myrsol Agua Balsamica Whew. This week is just about over. I could be happy with this lineup for a very long time. Everything just works so well together.
Day 16 The soap is starting to disappear rapidly. Using it every day, it seems to stay quite moist and I'm going through it at a more rapid rate. I went full on Brut dupe for an early morning meeting. The team can thank me later...
Thursday, July 6 AoS Rose Absolute~~Morris & Forndran Ali Baba 2~~Gem Clog-Pruf/Gem~~Royall Mandarin Day Thirteen. It's been a while since I took this Sabini-knot to soap. The handle, while shapely, is a bit petite for my liking. The fan-knot is quite "gelly" and supremely soft on the face. The AoS is giving up the ghost and I anticipate being finished sometime next week. Finished with an UNADULTERATED, vintage, "Made in Bermuda" Royall Mandarin. Why it took me so long to discover these products is beyond me.

Hard to say. Now they are manufactured in the US under the "authority" of the Bermuda Royall firm. I have never tried the newer products. As a "vintage junky" I was attracted to the older juice, which is really nice, but doesn't last too long.
Day 17 Not many days for the soap left now... A rare vintage injector shave today. I need to reach for them more often.
