1 ½ day growth, trying to keep busy



Prep = usual, warm water again, temporary hot water system installed
Cream = Tabac/tube, last day for this, I do like it, but need a change
Brush = Simpsons Chubby 2, still not my favourite, handle a bit short, very dense hair, better maybe for face lathering
Bowl = Proraso Green
(Planned Razor = Fatip Lo Storto, just couldn’t get the blade centred: too fiddly: too time consuming: had this problem before, it could be that a different blade will work better, no time to mess with this now, some other time, if it don't work, I won't be keeping it)
Razor = Gillette to the rescue ~ Lovely performer
Blade = Gillette Platinum Blue (3) still good on day 3 with this OC Gillette: liking this razor more and more
Three passes plus touch ups: No damage
Post = usual post clean-up/Brut ASL, Proraso Balm

Clean shaven, no scent today: off for a hospital visit...

Clear winner here: nice build quality (the one on top)


Hoping for a great Sunday

 

Nice shave this morning. Administering the Stoylin soap somehow gave me the feeling I'd have a solid shave. I did get a couple cuts(one larger than the other)at N. Porcupine Alley(above upper lip). No pain, they just happened. Otherwise, no negative issues. I spent a little extra time on the area that has driven me batty(from the rught earlobe down to the jawline, and it turned out good. Fine work down at Cactus Nation(neck). The Osage aftershave killed off the cuts, and felt SO NICE all over. I do like the Razorock Plissoft brush("400"). As Outstanding As It Gets(and I can thank the Osage for that top grade).
