    Thanks Gary. Unfortunately, it is not a hydo magic because it doesn't have the lever to gain access to clean the blade and inside the head.

    Prep = Hot water soak 30s x 3, Proraso white preshave, Soap = Proraso green, Brush = Omega 49, Bowl = Timeless, Razor = Merkur 37C, an impulse choice, glad I revisited this, Blade = Treet Platinum (2), Three passes plus touch ups. No damage. Post = usual post clean-up, Proraso Rinfrescante and AS balm. Scent = Guerlain pour homme. Negotiating the flats, the hollows and the crests all need a different technique. Super smooth. It’s been a while since I used the Proraso, forgotten how good this is. The 37C felt safe in the hand, despite being a “slant” shaving at different angles is still needed. Have some great shaves and an enjoyable week ahead.

    Great shave Chris! I never had a bad shave with Proraso Green SS. Omega 49 is a great boar brush. Enjoy your Monday.

    Travel Day/Bullpen Shave - I opted to go with the Parker SRX with a new blade. Unfortunately, three passes did not cut it. I had to go to the bullpen for the DE to close out this shave. The blade for the Shavette has been binned. Occasionally, a dud must be produced by the manufacturer to keep us honest. No big deal, I am clean shaven and ready for a long day of traveling.
