Excellent shave and buzz this morning following my X3 Bar Push workout at 8 AM. I really should have done the workout an hour or so earlier as it was very taxing due to the early morning heat. No worries, nothing that a dip in the oool post workout did not cure.

I recently picked up the aftershave of the Weekend in Malibu to pair with the sample of the same scent soap. I had discussed with Joe, @Trigger, in our most recent breakfast that I was looking to pick up this splash. I enjoy the soap as well. When the sample is finished I will pick up another sample next June. Since I have enough soaps in the den, purchasing a full tub just does not make sense to me. The scent profile of this soap and splash is as follows: “With a wonderful mixture of citrus, vanilla, sandalwood, and lily of the valley, this scent is a great balance of freshness and musk.”

The three passes with the Thistle straight delivered as close a shave that I may have had with any of my straights. Four hours post shave my face still feels BBS.

Time for an afternoon swim. Ah the life in the MOLC. Enjoy your day gentlemen.

Excellent shave and setup Joe. Yes, it's been hot and that's the way I like it a huh, a huh! The gym had the A/C set very low so it was uncomfortable for me while doing my routine.

Someone at Wet The Face blew it with my order. I got Frozen Lemon Ice instead of Vintage Bay Rum Generations, their newest one. Funny thing is, with this heat and humidity, I figure on using the "error" soap anyway. I reported this to the company. Be kinda nice if they send me the Bay Rum at no charge. Their record, plus that of the shipping co. said I'd get the Bay Rum.

 

I don't really swim so I don't use their pool.

Ok, so I decided to do a headshave and a faceshave with the Parker SRB and load a brand new Wilkinson Sword blade. This blade is smooth and sharp. Angora Soaps has always giving me a great lather.



Did a 2.5 pass face shave for a BBS result with a weep on my lower right neck. I hardly shave there because there isn't any hair in that spot. Oh well, live and learn.
I only did one pass on the dome and to be honest I could have stopped at DFS. I did get a little nick on my lower forehead. I landed slightly askew. Lol! I decided that I just needed a second pass cleanup and decided to play it safe and brought out the Fatboy to finish the job. I am definitely impressed with the Gillette Wilkinson Sword blades because you barely feel the cuts on the skin. The alum feedback was there and it did make my tiny boo-boos disappear so I am no worse for the wear. Lol! Splashed the matching aftershave on face and dome to end this session. I am happy with this shave. Take care.

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Arko Sensitive Shaving Cream.
Blade: Personna Comfort Coated. (D4)
Razor: Parker 87R.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Herbs of Bulgaria Lavender ASL./Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

Early morning shave.

A great inexpensive shave set up to finish my shaving week off wonderfully.

The Arko Sensitive Shaving Cream is wonderful, with a light lavender fragrance which lasts throughout the shave & leaves a excellent post shave feeling to the face.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.

Same as last time with just one difference
Fresh Feather in the 37C. What a difference Superest smooth shave thus far, no damage
More or less 2 passes, but no formal count, just kept on adding lather to the resistant turf and kept going. DFS and all that. BBS in some areas. Perfection? Not yet. But I have a strategy brewing
Scent = guerlain pour homme to round off the start to a wonderful day, my wife is being discharged today
