    SRS # 921 - 1508.5 Project - Calle Ocho

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Puma 65
Brush: Shore Shave Player 26 mm
    Lather: Lather Bros. Calle Ocho
    Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Another warm and muggy morning but that did not deter me from completing my X3 Pull work and having a great shave. Everything went well with this shave except the 10 minute delayed weeper. Super smooth with the assistance of the lather provided by a gram ( almond size) of the Calle Ocho. At the rate I am going, since the soap and tube weigh in a 73 grams, I should be finishing this up around October. I thought it would have been a little sooner. I guess my trip plays into the elongated calculation. My other option would be to use it during a Just One July Weekdays theme that I did last year. That would give me about 11 more shaves this month with the soap as opposed to 8 more with the 1508.5 Project. Not much of a change. Either way Edmund is calling.

Hope you all have a great day.

    July 13 SOTA

    Good afternoon.

    Shavette Shave #467
    Dovo
    Personna SE Hairshaper Blade (13)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
    Chiseled Face Cryogen SS
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 24 hrs.

It's a nice warm, late afternoon so Cryogen got the call. I just love this über mentholated soap. My trusty Dovo shavette got the call as well. Every time I use this razor, it's just magic. There's no other way to describe it. Ok, I feel like Sir Lancelot swinging Excaliber. However, as a Double Jedi Knight, I am very satisfied swinging my über light Saber. Lol! Ok, back to reality as I am swinging my shavette. Lol!

Cryogen loves water. Honestly, I don't think you can hurt it. Believe me I tried. Here's the lather:

Did 3 passes because I just needed to cool off and 2 passes was not going to do it for me.
I got a great, smooth, comfortable shave without any glitches. Did get a little alum feedback, but doing 3 shavette passes with a 13th use on a SE Personna Hairshaper Blade on a 1 day beard growth will do that to my skin. Lol! Sorry, I got the chuckles. Splashed on the AQ Ice Blue aftershave to finish this refreshing shave. Take care.

Another warm and muggy morning. Up early as we have some things to do today. The X3 Bar will have to wait until this afternoon.

Bastille Day - If I was still France I would enjoy the festivities.
    IMG_5231.jpeg
No French themed shave this morning. As mentioned earlier in the week to Chris, @ChrisB, I would feature the Merkur 37c in an upcoming shave this week. I was rewarded with a close and comfortable three pass shave. The end result was warrior free with a silent alum report. I am enjoyed my iced water soap scuttle shaves that are perfect for the current weather conditions, then again they are perfect for the Winter as well, IMO.

Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
